I first got introduced to TES via Morrowind and I haven't regretted it since. After MW it was Oblivion, and I have only recently tried Daggerfall (I haven't managed to get Arena working yet). I'm still looking to get my hands on copies of Battlespire and Redguard, but hope is slim (perhaps I should just wait for them to become freeware :)).

I started with Oblivion, then played Daggerfall, then Morrowind, and finally, Arena.

Technically, I started with Morrowind, although I didn't get very far and I couldn't really grasp the game. Then I played Oblivion and started to understand the mechanics of TES so I went back and played Morrowind and couldn't put it down. After that I played Daggerfall. Never got around to Arena, Battlespire, or Redguard though.

Morrowind, all because of Argonians and Khajiits. They are what drew me into the game. Then I went to Oblivion. Haven't played Daggerfall or Arena yet though.

I stated with morrowind when my uncle introduced me to it. my first charcter was a kajiit(sp) who got killed by a rat i said i thought the game was dumb because i couldn't hit. but i kept comieng back and its been an obsession of mine to discover everything in the series sinse then i've played and beaten every single game in the series and have read and tryed to understand all the lore.

Got Oblivion first (never heard of Morrowind till some time later) and fell in love with it. Bought MW after 2 years of playing OB and loved it even more.

So...it was Oblivion

has anyone have a link to get daggerfall to work on win7. i sort of got it working on xp but still had some issues with it. im currently using windows 7 so im not sure if it will even run at all unless dosbox was recently updated. also i read something about save games becoming corrupt. is that problem something very rare or common and is there a way to fix the save if it happens. im not gonna invest in a game if my saves will eventually go crappy. thanks in advance.

and i lost my ginity to morrowind.

First played morrowind around 2003, didn't understand it. Played again in early 2005, loved it and did one playthrough. 2006 oblivion came out, played that until everything I could possibly do was done. 2007 I went back to morrowind and played the crap out of it. 2008 I think I started to get into FO3.

most people haven't. i've read the storyline several times and watched the playthrough videos. sadly, i don't have access to a win98 computer atm, and i don't really want to mess with emulators for the time being.

Arena, i got it out of a magazine after the 10 year anniversary.

Got morrowind a few months later, then oblivion when it came out. Just recently played daggerfall for myself, not bad, but I didnt start with it so it doesnt have a hold of me.

I started with Daggerfall, back when the demo was released with one of PC Gamer's Edition. :D

Then 6 years later I picked up Morrowind, bought Battlespire, Redguard and Arena on Ebay. (Arena costed me 1$, and it came with the box and manual... :D) And finally Oblivion.

I played Daggerfall first in 1996. Then in 1999 I found Redguard in a bargain bin for three bucks at an office depot, and I bought it because it said elder scrolls on the side. Then Morrowind, Battlespire, Arena, and Oblivion. I knew about Arena in 1995 because a friend of mine had it, but I never played it much until the free release.
