I'd cross my fingers and hope they sell the rights to someone good and not Microsoft Games, or hoard them like Nickelodeon.

Fix'd ;)

Seriously, Disney makes a movie, sell it for three to six months then recall the whole stock and sit on it for five years then release an expensive Collectors Case or Special Edition

I'd be disappointed, but I'd just shrug and hope Dagger XL is finished within a couple years.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've probably said this before, but I must say it again. I'll open up a gate to Oblivion in front of Todd's house/apartment if we don't get TES V. :P

I would move on. I would be sad. I would get my open-world kicks out of Fallout. I would hate mail Todd Howard.

I would probably be really angry, due to the fact that I am done with the other series I liked (Halo), and I already am pissed at the other groups I used to like (BioWare, Valve).

Then I would have to wait for some sequels to new franchises.

Well my husband would probably be relieved. I might be an inconsolable mess for a few days weeks while he happily went about playing League of Legends.

Daggerfall is still alive today, WITHOUT MODS!!! TES cannot die, there will always be someone modding it, and after Nirn has been immaculately modded. Prepare for an invasion into Akavir and Oblivion :obliviongate:

It honestly wouldn't matter that they'd never make another TES game, someone would buy the rights to the series and they would either follow up the series, or screw it up so bad that they would have to sell it to someone else, then the process will repeat until someone is found who can handle the epicness that is the epic. Todd, Pete and the rest of Bethesda will forever be know as 'The FPS Dawn' or perhaps 'The Beth Betrayers'.

You can never over-mod a game, and if TES: V really will be their last, and nobody does buy it, may the modding community begin it's rise to fame, power, and glory!

THIS IS THE ELDER SCROLLLLLLLLS!!!!!!!!!

I'm a well-versed gamer, liking pretty much everything except racing games, so I'll find something to fill the gap.

You can never over-mod a game

Say that to my ridiculously modded Morrowind that crashes every 10 minutes. Had to go and create a "light" version to make it playable. <_<

But seriously, I get what you mean. Hopefully, when the likes of OpenMW are implemented, we'll be able to install a bunch of mods without completely failing miserably. Is that actually one of it's features?

Well, I love oblivion (and getting into D-Fall), but if it was no more........I'd move on.

First, I'd get Thief 3 back out and try to finish that, maybe Thief 2 if I get could it to run on Win7.

Then, I'd probably play Diablo 2, until Diablo 3 comes out (yay :) :) :) :) :) :))

It wouldn't end my world, but I'd be dissapointed.

Have your mods work perfectly with eachother. The problem is, it's pretty impossible for everyone to create a patch for every other mod out there. It' not a fault with the engine, it's the mods. (not that I blame the mod creators)

Surely, it's the same with Oblivion, when you have around 200 mods? Then again, I'll CTD before the game even starts if something's up. (far more annoying, imo)

Not NEARLY as bad. You can say its one of the UPs from Morrowind to Oblivion, but yeah, it's still there.
Though I have gotten it a little bad with Oblivion in that it Freezes and Does not CTD. So I have to reset my computer.
Guess I got to turn some mods off.

Well, I was being a tad overdramatic with the every 10 minutes thing. I probably ctd perhaps, 5 time a day, with a deently modded Morrowind? Anyhoo, let's not accidentaly turn this into another Morrowind vs. Oblivion thread. always happens. :P

With my new love for Dragon Age* and Fallout, I'd probably not care all that much, anymore. I love TES lore, but Bethesda obviously doesn't care much about preserving it. Without the lore, TES becomes pretty generic, so... why bother? Anyone can make a hack and slash with RPG elements. Besides, I've grown a little bored of waiting for news of TES V to the point of near apathy.

*Note that I'm getting a little miffed with the fact that there's all these DLCs, but no sign of another expansion pack. I loved Awakening, and I want more REAL content. I'm also not too thrilled that the DA2 character will be so... fixed :(.

I would go into hiding. I would sit in a cave meditating for about three days and then come out because I was hungry. Then I would maybe try out Morrowind.
