What enemies (if any) level up after 82?

Post » Sun May 18, 2014 7:13 am

Now that we can virtually limitelessly level up and have power without limit, are there any enemies that automatically level up with us, or are we destined to a ridiculously easy game after a few weeks of level grinding?

I don't think any of them really level past that.

None level past the usual 50 level cap.

So basically, yes you will face ridiculously easy enemies forever.

You don't even have to go that far, you could get a one hit kill just by bumping into someone. Hell sneezing would probably kill someone.

Indeed, if everything you do is going to be lethal why not just get Talos to turn you into the Tenth divine, screw the Thalmor, Dovahkiin gets dibs first.

Lore wise I don't think its possible. Only reason why he is a divine is because he and a few others mantled Lorkhan. So basically you'd have to mantle him (if he was dying) to be a Divine.

[censored] please, if what I do is lethal to everything then the nine divines would have to let me be the tenth divine just to save everyone.

Or you could just kill off those who are threatening the world and be done. I still doubt the Divines would do that anyways. Lore trumps game mechanic.

The majority of the enemies in the game don't scale above 50. And as powerful as Draugr Death Overlords are, they are only level 34. Perhaps the devs were trying to address the complaints Oblivion received with the level scaling.

So... at about lvl50, you are the strongest in the game, excluding named NPCs that keep leveling ahead of you.

Most people don't even make it to 81, they don't stick with a single toon that long. I think it's made so that people who focus on one skillset, instead of all of them, can still make it to 81/high levels without having to train skills they won't ever actually use.

Some Death Overlords can be level 45 as well. Specifically, the ones with Ebony Weapons exclusively.

To answer the OP, yes and no. No Common or boss enemy levels past 80. Though there are some unique bosses(General Falx, MIraak, etc) that can level up to 100+

General Falx in particular is one of the extreme rares that can level up infinitely.

Well at level 52 I have the game on legendary difficulty and still get a good challenge, I can imagine I will still get to a point where even that seems easy but it is at least a partial solution to the game being to easy.

Also play the game from the start on master difficulty really makes the game IMO, it almost forces you to role-play your character more, takes longer to level up and even bandits get the better of you till you are level 15+ and even then a bandit Chief will own you.
