What enemies would you like to see in New Vegas?

Post » Wed Oct 21, 2009 10:11 am

Enemies or monsters who hide in the sand and can't be detected by the Pipboy until they jump at the player.

That'd be badass. They could also grab the PC and drag him under, spitting him out nearby. The only way to kill it would be either A. Put mines at the surface, so it would jump up and swallow them, or B. Shoot it whenever it jumps up. The latter would be easier in VATS.

How about:
Rattlesnakes

Zombie feral ghouls

Deathclaws, in power armour :hubbahubba:

Irradiated Gila Lizards

Desert Scorpions

But no more bullet sponges
overlords were so annoying in f3

A few of the "Born Ghouls" from The Reservation. After all, they would no doubt want intel on New Vegas before they attempt to nuke it.

Zombie feral ghouls is the same thing as zombies but with different story

Deathclaws, in power armour-Just 3 words WTF?? :lmao:

Desert Scorpions=Radscorpions

But no more bullet sponges
overlords were so annoying in f3-yes they are, but it's an RPG, if you don't want bullet sponges don't play RPGs. Bullet sponges are one of the main RPG things that can't be gone.

I would like to see the wright family from fallout 2. I want them to be in New Vegas and have alot of pre-war weapons and bio-weapons and http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_2_robots_and_computers taken from Sierra Army Depot. I can see them having a mimi empire from New Reno to New Vegas. Under the protection of Ceaser's Legion.

They don't have to be bad guys, unless you want them to be.

That is a good idea. I loved the original Tremors film but maybe not worms but something nasty. Imagine something with too many teeth (not a member of the royal family) jumping up when you are travelling at night, I would jump a million miles.

I would enjoy seeing the Commonwealth in New Vegas. Their technology level might be even higher than that of the Enclave. Imagine what kind of advanced weaponry they could circulate into New Vegas.

A giant mutant Sandworm like from the movie Tremors, might as well throw in some 80's Sci Fi stuff, and maybe the little asian actor who plays the shop keeper - great voice for a wasteland.

I'd also like to see the commonwealth to add a new level of tech and some sort of hyper powerful cult  with power armour and flying drones (like eyebots but faster and better armed)

I'd like to see a merc group (like Talon), with an actual purpose other than carrying around weapons and gear that I'll later sell for caps.

I want raiders that don't look like a psychos, don't live in a satanistic psycho places (where people are hung without limbs, skeletons and meat is everywhere etc.) and don't wear psycho armours.
And I don't want to see any east coast supermutants.

~So, clean, well mannered Raiders?
"I dare say, Clive ol' boy...That appears to be a Water Caravan coming up the valley."

No
Look for example at pirate raiders, they don't look like a psychos, they have rather normal clothes, and they don't have human flesh and limbs in their ships.

Raiders? In Normal clothes? What kind of madness? How am I supposed to percieve them as a threat is they're dressed like regular wastelanders rather than scrapland warriors? If anything, they don't take the psychoness far enough. Viking Helmets! Full Plate Raider Armor made from the ramains of various machines! Hideous archaic weaponry forged out of hate in the heat of the wastes!

...Er, well, I suppose the Masters remains might be a cool Easter Egg somewhere, but Canonically, the Master was s'ploded by the Vault Dweller. As for Outcasts...Technically the entire Western BOS are the Outcasts, just not labeled as such.

Behemonts only exist on D.C., Super mutants didn't evolved on California

I think I read that East Coast mutants spread to the west or something in one of the mags.
