Robert De Niro as some crazy Imperial who walks around and asks everyone "are you talkin' to me? I don't see anyone else here, so you must be talkin' to me"

He also goes on murderous rampages when he finds a group of people he doesn't like

I really hope Wes Johnson returns. Other than that, no one specific. I really liked max Von Sydow(sp?) in the trailer. Fallout 3 had 36 voice actors, and Skyrim will have even more. It sounds like theyre heading in the right direction.

Famous actors = more sales = more money to spend on other things
It's not important to the core fans who are on here but is a selling point to a lot of others who are sadly in the majority.

I've never noticed Bethesda advertising their game by saying what famous voice actors they got. Have you? Please show me if so, I might have missed it.

My "casual" non-forum TES-friends never noticed any voice actors being famous in Oblivion. I didn't either until someone mentioned it.

I doubt someone would go and say "OMG! That game got Patrick Stewart as a voice actor! We gotta buy that game!!! ZOOOMG!".

So my point still stands. Famous voice actor = big waste of money that is much much better spent elsewhere.

It's subconscious. They read an IGN review that says "this has in it". People therefore think "Hey this game is going to be big" and that influences their buying decision. To be honest I am playing devil's advocate here and I agree with you at least on a personal level but in a business sense it is worth consideration.

Today, the status of some videogames (and the business of videogames), has reached a level so high that the staff of the actors of Hollywood encourage them to contact the studios of videogames (and not vice versa) to lend his voice, for not much money i suspect, and this way to remain tied to the success of the videogame.

So we can expect same very good actors/ voices in Skyrim, I'm sure.

To respond to OP, i like this epic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RWE8gk6uhE&feature=related (ADVICE: Strong Language)

@FeNDeR822 You beat me to it!!

Joanna Lumley as an Altmer noblewoman. = Inspired idea.

Any chance of Dame Judi Dench as a severe Imperial Countess also?

Ralph Feinnes would be great to have also, especially in a character where there's a need for nuance and a disingenuous personality.

Makes me think of the possibilities for "Great House" rivalries similar to Morrowind as a series of rivaling quest lines in Skyrim, nuts to the dragons.

Tom Hanks would actually IMO be a great voice actor for Skyrim. Him and James Hetfield. :mohawk:
