Basically if it has reproductive organs (no mater how incompatible said reproductive system would be with humans)(incidentally pulse optional. give a whole new meaning to "Boner") you can find a mod for it that lets the player get pregnant...
Literally if its in a Bethesda game. . . there is a mod for it.
Basically its Rule 34 B of the internet.
Seriously I find the entire topic of "oh can we/we can sneek in nudity" silly
Beth and X box do not want it for whatever reason in there game. but beyond that Beth does let the moders do whatever they want on PC. Literaly on PC its no holes bared and for the mod sights its up to them what you can find on there pages.
But to be blunt, Beth, Microsoft, Steam, Nexus And even the OTHER Bethesda porm mod sight have mods THAT THEY DO NOT WANT on there own system/network, the last thing they want is to deal with the various morality polices out there when they just want to make there own game and/or run there own thing. As it is, Its frankly a Freaking miracle that Xbox is allowing mods for a Beth game at all no mater what restrictions in the first place.
Kids and their nudity... Geez, just buy a porm mag
Let's just assume that some mods will be put out on console only to be quickly removed if there is even the slightest wardrobe malfunction caused by them
I'd welcome it because nudity is nothing bad - why are a lot of people still so damned prudish? (I blame religion - they after all still demonize looking a other peoples bodies and feeling lust etc. -.-)
greetings LAX
ok i'll have to do some hell of an offending mod now, just to see this happen
I vaguely remember some sort of savegame tweaking thing people were doing with Mass Effect 2 for editing more resources which was pretty convoluted. Granted things have likely changed since then, so who knows. I'm more curious how they'll implement mods for console in light of the limitations compared to how mods are with PCs.
you know given how much microsoft knows about anyone who uses their consoles they could just do an age check to see if the person is old enough to access certain mods (it's not like our age is top secret)
From what I understand, the limitations were mostly arbitrary. That being said, a number of mods, most of the popular ones in fact, for Fallout, would have been a serious drain on console resources. The new consoles are much better equipped being essentially X86 PCs with a dedicated OS, so the resource issues are not a problem.
What remains to be seen are what mods will be allowed to be distributed for the consoles.
I freely admit to not being too knowledgeable on console tech since I'm not really a console type person. What little I do know comes from friends kvetching about this that or the other regarding limitations. I'm still wondering how they would even be implemented regarding mod managers and mod conflicts before we even get to speculation as to allowed mods.
I just want an array of pretty dresses, more stuff for my house, and maybe an alternate start T_T (although since the game isn't out yet I dunno. Maybe I'll be completely satisfied with the base game)
A girl can never have too many dresses or shoes!
I'm not a modder or game designer, but I am a code monkey. I feel like any nudity that would be detailed or realistic would need some new game assets (textures, skins, etc.) to coincide with it, and those aren't easy to hide.
The best stuff is always behind a paywall.
So I hear.
hey, if every mod sneaks in nudity,
i'm gonna do a clothes mod.
i'm gonna be THE anarcho punk with that
I think it would be realistic to add naked men and women. As a scavanger roaming the wasteland looking for clothes, if I have 1 sandal on and 1 shoe and I found someone with a pair of boots, the logical thing would be to remove the boots and keep them for myself. That includes any other articles of clothing that may be of use to me later on.
If you want nvde mods so bad... actually, if you want all the really good mods, and I'm not talking just about nvde mods, but some mods that are really in- depth and require a lot of memory or gpu power... You should get a computer. You will most likely be limited on mod choices on a console.
Exactly this, anyone checking the mods who has even a slight degree of competency can spot them.
