What exactly were the Crusader's Relics? : The Elder Scrolls Series Discussion

Were they made of the Essence of the Divines, much like the Daedric artifacts are a part of their lord, or were they simply constructed of mundane materials, then imbued with power by the Divines?

I believe it is possible they were made from the essence of the gods, seeing as there is no other explanation that I know of.

I don't think there is any explicit definition, but I would think they are imbued with power. Nirn itself is made from the essence of the Divines (or the other wa round, I''m not sure)

The sword is actually a lightsaber, but it broke ages ago and someone fixed a metal blade on to it.
