What faction would you like to see in Fallout 4?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 12:33 am

I don't want to see evil religion though. Also the Abbey doesn't seem the type, so they'd be at odds with that kind of a militant faction.

I'd rather see militant Christians who know that they can't force people to believe. Fallout's is not an age of overbearing religious power structures.

MWBoS. Maybe Lyons BoS, like an outpost or two, to give lore on FO3. Talon Company(better implementation than 3). Reilly's Rangers perhaps. Maybe some former Enclave remants or abandoned hidden Enclave bases for some Enclave lore. Other than that, new factions. I don't think we will see any west coast factions appear.

The only old factions I want to see are Abbey of the Road and Talon Company because we have little to no idea about them and it'd be perfect for Bethesda to start crafting a unique identity for the East Coast. Beyond that I think a faction of hoarders would be kind of interesting. It'd pay a nice omage to your typical Bethesda PC in that they'll collect everything that's not nailed to the floor and has some value.

They don't have to be "evil". They could mostly just target gangs, raiders, and chem users. Mutants too since they could be considered abominations.

Also, do we know the Abbey would be against a militant branch? We don't know much about them except they ate somewhat secretive

Oh, yeah. Talon Company has a lot of potential. We never did learn who was funding their campaign to keep DC a wasteland.

Could be very interesting

F3 had far more interesting factions than NV it's just they didn't really flesh them out. Would love to look deeper into Talon Company

The Molerat faction. A bunch of weird religios driven people who see molerats as the reincarnation of god and their angels.

Well the guy on the right is a super mutant, its especially clear in the trailer by the way it walks.

Guy on the left is the one wearing T-51b Power Armour.

My first thought upon seeing them in the trailer was maybe its the main character plus a companion and then along with the airship I thought Midwestern BOS.

I cannot remember another time we have had some Power Armour wearing guys and super mutants operating together.

I want to find a faction just like those fine folks from Andale, who wins town of the year every year, who got no end of food, and no troubles at all.

Id like to see the return of the BoS in some capacity but I think most agree that if the BoS has to return it should be under the purview of their groups actual mission to find and take advanced old-world tech.

As a personal opinion ive seen people mention the possibility of the BoS coming to take the institues tech. I think its pretty badass to be honest and would make for a good story if done correctly and with obviously the lack of black and white.

We already know the institute and railroad will be within the game in some capacity, whether it would me main quest related or side quest related is still unknown but I would venture a guess as to say they might be part of the main focus.

Still looks like Super Mutants to me, watched the video in 1080p. Look at the knee area of the one on the left. You can see that the knee is bare, with the top of a boot below it, and the bottom of a armored "skirt" above it. The legs on power armor, are pretty uniform in silhouette.

The Enclave used a Super Mutant, Frank Horrigan, in Fallout 2. I liked how Mart's Mutant Mod for Fallout 3 had the Enclave patrols with black armored Super Mutants in them. But yeah, the only way it'd really make sense, is if the Enclave had allied with the Midwestern BoS, and that's if the part about the Midwestern BoS recruiting non-humans is canon

I have to disagree i'm looking at picture zoomed in and they have totally different body shapes, the super mutant is larger then the PA guy, they walk totally differently (in the trailer) and i'm seeing T-51b power armour on the figure on the left........but opinions are opinions rather than facts.

Well I was going to say that was impossible but as Korbu mentions.....Frank Horrigan, so I guess power armoured super mutants could be possible.

They are mutants, look closely at the one on the right, he is green: http://i.imgur.com/3IVDPVW.png

More proof: Took the image into Photoshop and turned the vibrance up, he is in fact green: http://i.imgur.com/vwxfnke.png

Yeah I just read Frank and how the Enclave used Super Mutants.

I guess it does fit in the FO lore so it's fine. But I DON'T want more Enclave even though I do love that faction. They need a rest. I wouldn't mind seeing remaining Enclave experiments, old bunkers and small remnants though.

Lol, and i just went through all the trouble of opening a copy of the picture up in Paint, zooming in, and outlining all the armor parts in red, and all the skin in green to show exactly what i was seeing. Pretty close to what you can see in those enhanced pictures.

I've been saying the the one on the right is a super mutant for a while now, its the figure on the left who walks in a different gait and appears to be wearing T-51b power armour.

That is the whole reason I've been hoping that its a sign of Midwestern BOS being in Fallout 4 due to their possible (depending on the player) recruiting of super mutants.

I've been moving the background super mutant alongside the Power Armour guy and I think they are roughly the same size.....so could MIdwestern BOS have like the Enclave before them equipped their super mutants with Power Armour?

If this is correct, why is one super mutant armoured up and the other is almost totally unarmoured....also does the super mutant on the right look like a west coast/midwestern super mutant or a DC super mutant?

It just kicks up more questions when you look in to this stuff.
