What factions do you want to see come back or never come bac

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 1:32 pm

I would like to see the other BoS branches but there are a few enclave remnants in small groups out there. But in my post is a possible http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1187515-the-enclave/page__view__findpost__p__17646672 that might make a faction to play for a future fallout game. How ever it would be interesting if the faction is splintered over numerous ideas and with no primary leader.

Of course this is an idea with no "solid" proof or fact.

The faction I never want to come back: Enclave!

Faction I want to come back: Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel.

Faction I want to show up for the first time: Mutant Liberation Army.

styles has it right....well kinda...we need to see what's happened to mid-west BOS eventually...i dunno how many games time but we do....and u can't kill off all BOS cause power armour is a main feature of the game..i did like how vegas made it hard to get again like fo1....made it an achievement when i got it... look i think the enclave is dead i'm not fuissed if they bring them back...but if they do bring them back to life they better not just have another base......but in all likelyhood..they were a pre war organisation and they probs have another base somewhwere....

i like the idea of republic of dave growing however said that kudos

NCR i'm saying not for at least another 2 games please...ceasers legion can be done...on the other side of their territory.....

no more khans tho.......they are just raiders...and i wiped them out...for both an independent and ncr vegas......so i think they are gone.... and followers...i just dont care enough about them.... and mr house.....is dead.....as well...

Not me, if a game starts where they are based at, and you get a chance to join it will make sense. You can t just walk up to a military merc corporation guy and ask to join. Blackwater main HQ is not in Iraq. The men there are not talking to anyone, or taking anyone on board, because that is not their job. The U.S. government pays them to escort vips or important stuff. They are kind of above the law over there. Many shady things they do over there fall on the feet of the U.S. military, because from a distance you really can t tell them apart.

The game would need to start where Talon Company main HQ is IMO.

Then you could talk to people that are in charge of hiring. They are not good or bad in my book. $$$$$

I think Blackwater still has to follow Iraqi law, I doubt Iraq made an exception for any mercs. After all, Iraq is a sovereign country and that means Iraq gets to make it's own decisions, it's own laws, effective for all within Iraqi borders.

Anyway, I think it does make sense for Talon Company to try and recruit you, but only after you somehow show how capable you are. One way is to play a role in taking a well defended location for some faction. Maybe when you prepare for the final battle, it could even be possible to secure a contract for Talon Company to side with some of the factions.

As for factions I'd like to see, there's quite a few in several faction threads and they are worked out better than most of the faction we currently have.

Brotherhood of Steel if it makes sense to have them in and they are not a bunch of goody-do-gooders

Enclave if they make sense like in Chicago and maybe the commonwealth I doubt M.I.T would be able to make androids without them knowing or helped fund it before the war

Caesar's Legion Not enough is known about them and their pure badasses

I personally want to see the Brotherhood of Steel keep on keeping on. The Enclave though can just go away and die on a hole somewhere.

I think Blackwater still has to follow Iraqi law, I doubt Iraq made an exception for any mercs. After all, Iraq is a sovereign country and that means Iraq gets to make it's own decisions, it's own laws, effective for all within Iraqi borders.

The thing with Blackwater was they are payed by the U.S. government.

The U.S. military tried to be the law and fight a war at the same time for at least the 1st 3 years. Blackwater has its own rules they are not United States military.

They were told what to do, and I m sure they were givin rules to follow, but they are were even more vicious than the U.S. military when it comes to their own saftey. They did some real shady stuff there. From a distance the Iraqi people can t tell the difference, so they thinks its U.S. military.

Blackwater and groups like it are a bit more "shoot first" than government soilders. There is no one but them to tell the story about what happened.

I definitely want to see the Legion again.

I never ever want to see the Enclave again. Killing them three times is freaking enough.

I definitely don't want to see the Brotherhood in a major role either, but I'd be cool with them having a minor part in the game.

I think I'd like to see the Reaver Movement again as a side-faction next to whatever larger factions that are introduced/reused. Granted they're basically religious techno-Raiders and would probably be an evil/neutral-aligned group, it'd be interesting to see them implemented again with some side-quests as well.

Brotherhood need to take a backseat position for once and have no bearing on the plot whatsoever, just be in the background. If Beth decides to bring the Enclave back in some form they should just be remnants. They know they've been pretty much defeated and they're just trying to lay low and keep to themselves. That won't stop players from showing up on their doorstep and plundering their little hideout of goodies however :) Otherwise no Enclave again.

I just want some power-armoured mooks to fight. Whether they're BoS or Outcasts or Enclave or whatever I don't really care, so long as Fo4 actually has some worthy adversaries (rather than the machete-wielding cretins we were given in NV).

Only form I want BoS and Enclave back is if Fallout 4 takes place around Chicago. The BoS there is far from the real BoS, but in another direction than Lyon's BoS if the Barnaky Ending is canon (which makes them evil fascists, and more similar to Enclave). If Enclave is there also, I'd just like to see them in some role where they cooperate with the fascist "BoS" and don't call themselves "the Enclave" anymore. They are probaby very few left of them in one bunker in Chicago, too few to fight MWBoS and MWBoS left California before they even met the Enclave so they wouldn't think they are who they really are. The Enclave would be good puppeteers, and the MWBoS good puppets.

1. Yes..yes...NO. Why do you want the NCR destroyed...your killing AMERICA!!
2. Yes and about the masters army i dont care its always nice to kill some super mutants.
3. FOA are cool. Republic of dave got slaughtered by me. Talon company should return and we see a good side to them(as in you can work for them)
4. BOS need to change in order to grow or this might be the last fallout you will see them in.

I want factions that are dead (Masters Army, Enclave) to stay dead, is that so bad? We killed them, entire storylines and sacrifices were made to defeat those evils, why should they retcon the storylines of all the numbered Fallout games just so you can have "power armored mooks" or "muties" to shoot at?

Because gameplay trumps story every single time.

(I don't care if it's brand-new power-armour goons and muties, or returning factions, just give me something it's actually worth fighting in Fo4.)

Because you only killed the ones you knew about, which may not have been all of them. Though, the Master's Army, I totally agree, it's dead and should stay dead. The Enclave is a great meta-badguy. They could be everywhere. Why do so many feel that such a powerful pre-war organization would put ALL of their people in one place? I mean come on, they built the vaults, they ran Vault-Tec, surely they had some other vaults built to house their own people.

I would like to see the Tunnel Snakes, the Kings and the Brotherhood Outcasts again.

And the FO3 Regulators, but this time done decently, like a group of bounty hunters you can join. Kind of like how you could bounty hunt in Read Dead Redemption.

And I would like to see the Talon Company as some kind of bounty hunter group in reverse. Hunting down peacekeepers to ensure chaos, evil bounty hunters.

1.NCR - maybe
2.ceasers legion - maybe
3.mr house - no
4.followers of the apocalypse - yes
5.khans - yes
6.shi - maybe
7.BOS - yes
8.some enclave - maybe
9.talon company - no
10. super mutants - maybe
11. republic of dave - defiantly not!

1. NCR is a maybe depends where the game takes place. If the game takes place on the eastecoast then no, that would make no sense
2. ceasers legion if the game takes place near new vegas yes, if it takes place somewhere else then no.
3. Mr. House - no he's New Vegas only
4.Followers of the apocalpyse I say yes because they are canon.
5.Khans yes to this also they are a major raider group and consistent with canon. Also depends where the next game takes place
6. shi - yes if the game takes place back in California otherwise no.
7. BOS yes they are kind of like the mascot almost as equal to vault boy.
8. some enclave maybe... although I lean more towards no they are pretty much defeated if you ask me
9. talon company - no they are D.C. only.
10. Super mutants - maybe they are a common enemy though
11. Republic of dave - no No AND NO. They are D.C. only and should stay in D.C.

2. Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado, but if they've expanded further in the timeline then it might stretch out to the outlying states as well.
7. Is there a beaten dead horse inside the power armor?
9. I thought they just operated there because of a contract and that they originate from somewhere outside of DC?
10. They're drying out, they shouldn't be common.
