what would you do if fallout 4 let you bring back your nv character would try to introduce him or her to the fallout 4 character??
yes i know it's a stupid question.

I'd wonder how he/she got into the vault....I would also wonder why I'm having to level him/her up, shot in the head again?
at best that could only work on the PC version and even then that′s a lot oh bother for a minor gimmick (tho I would assume even then they axe the idea, since they would try and for the most part, keep the PC and the console versions the same)
He traveled back in time and loses his memory. He made a family in his new life and than... the bombs fall and he get into the vault to be frozen with cyrostasis.
Time travel! Probably involves aliens somehow.
I'm sure there will be mods for that, which I'm totally fine with. But no, I'd rather keep my Courier on the West coast thank you.
yeah if anything i bet they make reference to the lone wanderer before they'd mention the courier. Besides he has a nation to be running over there in vegas
My Courier is married to Cassidy and they're both living in her motel at Novac. So no, she's not walking back to the East Coast. In fact, that's why she left it in the first place so she could leave her sordid past in the Capital Wasteland, what with her father and the fight against the Enclave, behind. She wouldn't be caught dead back there.
But sure, it'd be a pretty nice option. If anything else, just pull up the picture of your New Vegas character and try to get 111 to look exactly like the Courier, as close as you can. Then make up a reason as to how he/she is in the position 111 is in now.
You mean other than the technical aspect that Perks and Traits may not match up, or what kind of BS story that BGS would have to cobble together to explain what the Courier was doing in Boston, or the total disregard of the Joe Everyman or Jo Everywoman rising from total obscurity, growing in power until they are able to deal with some disaster of biblical proportions that all other Fallout games have had?
Nope, got nothing else here.
Alexander is exactly the kind of guy who would make it to Boston a decade after his time in the western wastelands. But then, thats pretty much all of my characters, major travellers and explorers, their thirst for adventure only being constrained by how far the game actually reaches.
If my NV character was to meet up with the prototype Fallout 4 character I have in my head, im sure they'd get along well. Both are gun nuts, although what guns they like are quite different. Probably spend their time together practicing with their weapons, on live raider targets and the shooting range both. Yeah, they'd be fast friends, although if they met up with my Lone Wanderer they probably wouldnt get along since my LW sees guns as a tool to allow further study of wastelander societies rather than being all obsessive about using them to kill.
You know, that might make a good mod, to bring my courier in as a adventurer into the Fallout 4 worldspace. I'd have to bring his favourite equipment along with him, and thats where there would be a hurdle. I might be able to port over his Ranger armour and 1911 from New Vegas's files, but i'd never be able to release it. The real stumbling block for personal use would be getting his M16A2 fully modelled and working with the correct animations. If I ported over the New Vegas mod I use then I might be able to get permission from who made those assets, but to do it right i'd need to get original models of my own for all of his equipment, and I have nowhere near those kind of skills, sadly.
My Courier is too busy running Vegas to travel to the east coast.
i'd at least start the game with a decent clean suit and a pair of funky sunglasses then
I'd wonder why I'm not level 50 any more and how I managed to travel across the US on foot when it's said that even the Brotherhood of Steel and the NCR have difficulty doing so!
My Courier is/was a heavy armor wearing man-child who only does what the legion tells him to do. He's too busy wrestling with complex three word sentences to know about the east coast.
It would make more sense to have one of your FO3 characters turn up as a NPC somewhere. I'm not sure that a FO:NV character would get over to the East coast.
Why would the courier be in Boston? My Courier would still be in Vegas. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
You found back Cassidy ? I can't wait to see him reunited with his daughter.
would at least explain where your 49 levels had gone
