The US government has no respect for human life
Radiation is a primary element in evolution
When you become good enough in something, you suddenly stop improving
Automatic weapons work by sending bullets in random directions, hitting various targets at a wide radius
A normal individual will have no problems holding an assault rifle in his hands for days and days without break
1,000 individuals CAN survive 200 years in a bunker without any contact with outside world
In the event of disaster, religion is the first thing people abandon
Caliber is just a number.

If you encounter a situation where there's segregation and inequality, where the elites live like kings and refuse to give any aid & comfort to the poor and downtrodden, simply do nothing about it. The elites are correct to be prejudiced (ref. the Roy Phillips situation).

Actually I love that quest. It breaks the heart of all the bleeding heart do-gooders who feel that they need to play the perfectly good path. I love to hear them whine about Roy Phillips.

That if I go to pick up an object from in a toilet, I may accidently end up drinking the toilet water instead.

Reducing an enemy to a small pile of ash or goo with an energy weapon will not prevent you from recovering all their weapons, ammo, chems, money and clothing intact.

After the bombs fall, I'll be able to take several hits to the head from sledgehammers, bats, various bullets, etc.

Pre-war money will still be worth something.

The real currency will be found attached to bottles of a refreshing beverage, which can be found in large, attractive red vending machines scattered about the ruins of the city. The citizens, poor and thirsty though they might be, will leave the delicious drinks and their lids for me.

Just before the bombs fell, corporations outdid themselves for greed, viciousness, and careless disregard for safety.

People really bought atomic cars that could explode if mistreated. No, they really did! They drove all over in them!

Toilets were created as pure decoration, because no one has a bladder.
You can publicly murder an innocent person in the middle of town, and no one will remember a few days later.

If I rip off a deathclaw's hand, another will grow right back.

There is no difference between murdering someone and stealing a tin can -- you will be put to death either way.

Not to feed the yao guai.

That, at the end of the day, a post-apocalyptic world is pretty fun.
