Since the dawn of human kind, when our ancestors first discovered the killing power of rock and bone, blood has been spilled in the name of everything, from God to justice to simple, psychotic rage. But war never changes. The Romans waged war to gather slaves and wealth. Spain built an empire from its lust for gold and territory. Hitler shaped a battered Germany into an economic superpower.
But war never changes.
In the 21st century, war was still waged over the resources that could be acquired. Only this time, the spoils of war were also its weapons: Petroleum and Uranium. For these resources, China would invade Alaska, the US would annex Canada, and the European Commonwealth would dissolve into quarreling, bickering nation-states, bent on controlling the last remaining resources on Earth.
By the year 2077, after millennia of armed conflict, the destructive nature of man could sustain itself no longer. The world was plunged into an abyss of nuclear fire and radiation. But it was not, as some had predicted, the end of the world. Instead, the apocalypse was simply the prologue to another bloody chapter of human history. From the ashes of nuclear devastation, a new civilization would struggle to arise. For man had succeeded in destroying the world - but war, war never changes.
This is the intro to Fallout, a post apocalyptic war-zone where the filth of humanity battle over the last shreds of the pre war earth. In 2007 the fallout franchise was officially resurrected from its grave and several months later, players once more marched into the wastes to fight the good fight. The game "Fallout 3" was a hit among critics and players alike, but, nothing is perfect. Several problems in Immersion, game play, and story were but a few issues this game faced, yet, it succeded overall.
With a new chapter in the saga approaching, Fallout: New Vegas, we hope that its creators have learned from its predecessors mistakes and shall fix what is needed.
Story:
From vault 13 the first came to save his humble vault, the second came to save his quaint village, and the third came to find a lost father. The fallout series is known for many things, one of the first, is the story. The blend of 50's culture bomb scare culture and flash Gordon, golden age science fiction has created a unique experience for players for many years. One thing that stood out, was choice. You could do almost anything, as you were given only a vauge goal in mind and pointed in the right direction, the rest was up to the player. Each play-though was unique and interesting with brilliant black humor moments and iconic scenes from beginning to end.
*Keep true to the canon
*Choice that matters
*give the player freedom and only hold his/her hand when ABSOLUTELY necessary.
