Brink seems to be offering so much new stuff to the industry, will these ideas be sucessful?, will they affect games made in the future? Also what are you guys most excited about that Brink is offering?
For me im really excited about all of the customization options being made available, and the fast paced gameplay that i feel will allow people to be creative and have their own unique style of play.
Hand down most excited about the ability to Free Run. I know i'll also LOVE the degree of player customization Brink claims to offer. Can't wait to see more videos for customization.
SMART and the objective-based gameplay is what has me hooked. Although I love the character customization, I could take it or leave it.
I couldn't. I'm tired of accidentally killing my own teammates whenever I'm not using a sniper rifle because everybody looks the same from a distance. BUT if I had to choose between customization or the S.M.A.R.T. feature then I'd have to choose S.M.A.R.T. - nothing is going to beat sliding up to some poor sod who's not paying attention and shoving my shotgun barrel where the sun don't shine.

A big white/blue/green name/icon above their head isn't enough to differentiate friend from foe?
Originally SMART didn't impress me all that much, I just though "oh, that's pretty cool". I guess I didn't appreciate how much of a difference it was going to make on the flow of matches.
I do not want to act like a hype-boy, but seriously SMART makes me want this game the most. I just can't imagine how much it will change the way we look at tactics and the map itself, now that there will be no ,,oh look a barrel blocks my way'' obstacles. Looking forward to it anyway.

No, no it is not. I tend to get a little trigger happy when I'm halfway down a map, or close to a known enemy hangout area. What I mean by that is I like to shoot first and ask questions never. If nobody ever gets a chance to say otherwise then I get to automatically assume that everyone moving must be enemies!
