What fighting style do you plan on using? : V

Just wondering what fighting style people plan on using in Skyrim.After watching the trailer I think I am sold on a thief type character so I chose the 10th option.I want to get really good at sneaking and using a dagger so I can slit as many throats as possible.Dont even need to use the other hand. :teehee:

I don't think that you can go wrong with magic and a weapon. :flamethrower:

One of the first threads (or perhaps just a comment) I made after Oblivion came out was how much I wanted daggers to be more useful- I felt like if I was able to sneak up into someone's house unseen I deserved to slit their throat or stab them.

So yeah- I'll definitely be making use of a dagger- as for the hand, perhaps another dagger, perhaps a stealth-related spell, though that's much less likely.

So I voted dual-wielding.

I am an archer at heart and that's all I'll ever be. I love me some BOWS.

If arrows are limited, awesome. Bring it on, I'll go out of my way to find them and I will learn to use them wisely.

If I can make my own arrows, AWESOME. I'll run out into the forest and gather up sticks and rocks and go home and make them all day long. I love my bows.

im interested in seeing how this poll pans out

i really really hope that the melee combat will be good because i voted "weapon and shield, two handed weapon, bow". all three. usually i play stealth and i love stealth so i think of myself as a melee character, but not a huge barbarian character that can absorb a lot of damage. i intend to be more of a ranger type. i will put a lot of XP into my sword swinging skill but not a lot into my health to keep myself lethal but fragile. if i COULD do this in skyrim than i will need stealth and a bow to be able to survive.

Currently, I'll mainly be dual wielding axes, with a 2h axe as backup for my first character. Second, depends.

I was planning to be a steathy archer. But now I dont know. Seeing the different fighting styles in action make me want to try everything.

Dual Magic. In one hand fire, and in the other fire. Imagine if you will the burning torrent like flamethrower before it consumes everything. Or for extra lolz two handed healing and try be a pacifist.

In order.
1. Magick both hands.
2. Two Handed Weapon (Polearm).
3. Duel Shield.

If they were just joking and one handed spears make it in then I'll use a spear in one hand and magic in the other.

Me too,my second option is dual weilding,which the trailer also sold me on.
I would like to dual weild a longsword and a mace.I think that would be fun. :hubbahubba:

I'm gonna go with a bow.

And the other dual magic, on my Breton. I do hope they have more conjuration monsters in this one than oblivion because conjuration was my favorite skill.

EDIT: i might just choose all because im only just gonna make a bunch of different save games with different combinations.

Sword and shield or claymore. Can't decide yet. It will determine how well a sword can block fire from a dragon... :flamethrower:

I picked the top 3. 'Cause I plan on having 3 characters.
1) Dunmer With Sword and Magic
2) Nord with Sword and Shield
3) Dunmer with Dual-Daggers or Shortswords

Seriously though, for my first play-through I always play a somewhat stealthy archer, and while I wouldn't exactly call him a thief, he does have sticky fingers when he needs something to survive.

You know what's funny about this? I only put that option in because I knew someone would say "hey what about dual shields" or something along those lines.I put every possible option in I think.

Also my third option would be a Orc who uses a warhammer.Bash and smash. :banghead:

Dont even get me started on hand to hand.Just thinking about such a thing breaks immersion for me.Some people really like hand to hand(and to each thier own) but to me personally it is just to silly to think I could save the world with my bare hands.
