tsk tsk Chesire, when you start one of these, your supposed to say what your playing in the OP (or at least, thats the way it was done when i started the first dozen iterations of this thread, but the youngins change everything don't they )
in all seriousness though, since my gaming PC has been built after my last one was lost in a semi-natural disaster I am tackling my backlog of PC games (sadly, this means it will be even longer before I finish my PS2 and GBA backlog ).. been jumping between GTAV which is bloody beautiful on max settings, and the latest neptunia game (which fyi, the "giant battles" are an interesting twist to the standard main-game neptunia boss battle format) where the jokes are just as humorous as ever
Still playing A Link Between Worlds, also downloaded the original F-Zero on the Virtual Console. Still I don't understand why you need the New3DS XL to play SNES games while the older model won't let you.
another fun franchise Nintendo seems to have just abandoned entirely.. i blame the terrible anime adaptation
vaguely? your probably repressing the memory, it was really bad.. like really.. and at the same time, the anime ended within a month of the final F-Zero game to be released, coincidence or contributing cause? you be the judge..
yeah, you can tell i haven't been checking the forums as often.. i used to get these up within an hour of the last one locking, but for the past few versions others have done it before I got the chance
I am considering trying the Witcher 3 to hear what the hullabaloo is about, but it seems to have a save import feature from what I have heard? ehhh, it will make me want to pull a mass effect and play the previous two so i can import choices, but the first was terrible and the second was just "meh"..
Still playing mostly ARK: Survival Evolved in single player mode. Steam says I've played the game 53 hours, and that before a brief recent session. Hard to fathom, considered how recently I purchased the game. But with so much to do just to maintain status quo, let alone attempt to get ahead, it's easy to lose myself in the world. Gotta admit I'm not all that great at it. Seem to take one step forward and two steps back, which often but not always adds to the fun.
Got in a Minecraft session tonight, confining myself to gathering resources at the Hill Fort. Fished an enchanted book with a choice between three very nice enchantment. Harvested both tree/timber farms. Culled cattle and chickens. Sheered Upper Plateau sheep pen. (Main wool ranch is on the Lower Terrace. I ignored it.) Harvested pumkins (2x), carrots, cactus, beetroot, vines.
Played a three-game session of Solitile, almost the first game I acquired when I bought my first computer back in 1989, and still a favorite of its kind. It has resided on every computer I've owned between then and now. I played The Bridge as always, Won the final game after much struggle...the best kind of win.
Not sure about the blank areas (possible model or clothing mod?), but the binds is just an animation. One little jump will fix the "hands in front"
That's interesting. The very same thing happened to me with Fallout 3. My first time through the game I merely liked it. I thought it was okay, but it didn't really grab me. Two years later I tried it again and, for some reason, this time it "clicked" with me. I spent a good six months playing the game everyday, obsessively. Go figure.
I've decided to revisit a really good game, Saints Row The Third.
Why do people have such a hard time with the Water Temple? It's a pretty basic puzzle.
I'm currently playing through Just Cause 3 (it works better than it did at launch, but could use a good 2 or 3 more stability patches). Just got my Mech last night and proceeded to Force Punch everything, including Helicopters and Drones out of the air.
I finished Terraria's Achievements on my Xbox One on Sunday, which was a bit more complicated now. Still cannot be bothered fighting Duke Fishron yet, even though I have everything setup including an Arena to fight him in.
Also, I'm playing Hyrule Warriors again on my Wii U and levelling my characters. That game is just incredible.
Been putting off finishing Xenoblade Chronicles, I really should never have stopped playing it, because getting back into it when I'm 80% done isn't that easy. When I'm done with that, I'll hit up Xenoblade Chronicles X.
I've been playing Warframe every now and then to keep up to date with things. Just waiting until next week so I can buy my Boar Prime Barrel and Dakra Parts from the Trade Chat (I really cannot be bothered farming them, and I've done so many T4 Interceptions for that Dakra Part, I just gave up). And we're getting Nekros Prime, which is great, because Nekros is one of my mains. Double loot drops in an RNG loot-based game is priceless.
third was pretty good... absurd, but good
the 4th however? not very good
I find the Water Temple annoying, not because of difficulty but because you get really sick and tired with hearing Zelda's Lullaby every time you raise and lower the water. Honestly why couldn't they have switches or levers to do that?
It's really good. I like how it's a mix of seriousness and absurdity, with a good dose of levity thrown in for good measure. SR4 went completely off the rails. It was okay, not nearly as good as SR3 was. If they ever do an SR5, and I would love it if they did, I'd like them to just retcon the heck outta SR4 and go back to what SR3 was, a mix of seriousness and absurdity, with a good dose of levity thrown in.
SR4 is my favorite one due to how downright crazy it is!
