What game are you migrating from?

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 8:34 am

Me and the clan I'm in will be coming over from MAG.

We still play, and are one of the last active clans in MAG... The majority of us are really excited about BRINK...

It's really too bad that MAG is slowly falling. It truly is one of the best FPS games I've ever played, bugs/lag aside.

Black Ops, But Brink is going to have to do something amazing to beat COD4

I was playing that earlier today. Imagine how much better it would be if the multiplayer had a storyline, and you never got stuck on anything in the scenery.

Fallout: New Vegas, im sad to say. Im up to the point that it might become repetitive. WTB game that can be played for more than 50 times, hopefully Brink will be that game!

Team Fortress 2, Starcraft 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Minecraft.

On the note of being new, I've been lurking here for ~1.5 years now. Didn't register until recently though.

Accessories: 1080ip flat screen, Turtle Beach x4.1

I've been referred to as a "gaming prodigy" Started gaming online when I was 16, have grown to the point where "pro" players look up to my gaming expertise. I'm not really conserned with people thinking I'm blowing smoke with this because the fact of the matter is that I can back it up. I do have a life and am working on my associates degree in visual design. I hope to one day go into the gaming industry (hopefully working for splash damage) and help create game's that give a lot of options for players with skills, crazy things that haven't even been dreamed of... Wish me luck :foodndrink:

Shadowrun and Bad Company 2.

Shadowrun is hands down the greatest FPS this generation, damn me you will but that game is pure balance, genius and joy. If you have not played it you must, there is a quality community still playing as well.

Same here, i love SR. I've been thinking of buying Shadowrun for the PC this time, since my 360 screwed up this past summer and miss it dearly.

I have played every console Battlefield game, and look forward to BF3.

Brink looks to be another great team-play game!

Since we're all pretty much new to these forums (cause Brink isn't out yet :P)

For the record: I am not new to this forum. And I'm not even here as long as others.

And I guess I don't "migrate from" any game to another. I play some GTA IV currently. And when I've finished that, I'll play Darksiders (which I got during Christmas and now it's on Steam-sale AGAIN  ). And inbetween I play some Modern Warfare 2 or Rainbow Six Vegas 2 every now and then.

Not exactly moving over from anything.. just adding Brink to what I play now.

I'm playing Killzone 3 now, and when I get live back probably Halo Reach for a bit.

Nice to see some MAG clans making the move, I think the majority have moved to Killzone 3 but I think Brink's far more exciting.

Again, sorry I meant no offence. I just noticed the majority of people seemed to have registered within the last few months.

Bad Company 2

CoD: Black Ops (I've never played a game, where lag effected gameplay so much)

Crysis 2 maybe

I don't think I'm going to play another call of duty after this comes out

but the reason I did get Black Ops is the splitscreen Co-op, I always have stoners over at my house wanting to do something, so its nice for that.

Anyways, I think you guys should check out this youtube video of me playing, I know, I know, "I hate call of duty, you homo quick scoper" I promise you'll be entertained (assuming you understand what happens)

I don't know if anyone actually migrates from one game to another, but whatever.

Have you heard about rumors of a GTA V this year?

I've personally been predicting it would come out this year since Red Dead Redemption was released.

I still play many of the games in my collection.

I'm not migrating my flock, just spreading my population.

Yeah same here. I'm trying to beat it through for the 3rd time, but the frame rate and lag is just so bad on the final mission that it isn't really fun anymore. I might just trade it in at gamestop or craigslist it.

We originate from RtCW/ET and have made our way through BF2, COD4, W@W and BFBC2 currently wasting time on BLOPS.
We have been following BRINK with some interest, knowing that SplashDamage has a past as mappers for RtCW and development of W:ET

BRINK could turn out to have potential for some old school wolf teamplay. But with current announced max players and no real info about public dedi servers files or mod/map tools, we might skip running server for BRINK and just play casually. If so we will probably end up at BF3 instead.

The shooters that I am playing currently are Quake Live and BC2. I will definitely be dropping BC2, but will continue to play QL because Quake Live > All.

Our guys are coming from Call of Duty: Black Ops, as the US competitive scene has already started to fade. Looking forward to Brink!

If you asked me a couple months I would have said BC2 but seeing how I accidentally left that at home when moving back to university I've been filling most of my time with MAG. With the recent press releases of Brink it has surged to the top of my to-buy list so here's me hoping it'll keep me busy until the release of BF3. :woot:

Black ops, which I do not intend to play (unless friends need me, but even then, it'd be punishment) and Marvel vs Capcom 3. Which I do intend to still play.
