What Game Are You Playing For Brink?

What games are you guys playing to practice/train for Brink?

Interested in what others are doing, also looking for some ideas of games. Generally a FPS that takes a while to kill in such as Shadowrun.

All I got's CoD: Black Ops right now. I could probably do training mode with the difficulty raised way up.

Also have Halo: Reach but I haven't touched that in weeks.

There I made your post a little more Brink friendly.

Also isn't there already a thread similar to the original post?

At least two that I can think of, but they've been dead for a few weeks, so it should be fine

I picked up TF2 a couple months back to get used to team objective based play.

I'm gonna get the xbox TF2 but everyone on the boards keeps getting bent out of shape about it.

Its definitely a game where you have to work together or lose, which was what i was looking for. I don't know if the other gameplay elements translate as easily to Brink as others seem to think, but if all you are looking for is team play, its one of the better games out there.

Last time I played TF2 on Xbox every game was hacked. There were either fences everywhere or the gravity was all messed up or you could only pick one class.

I'm not that crazy about it. I got it as part of a deal with a friend who had it: I'll get Reach if you get Brink. of course we've only played one game together since...

Infected and Firefight mode are pretty fun though.

Monday Night Combat. It's essentially TF2 with tower defense. But it's ALL team play and people always play the objective. Arcade game on XBL for like $15.

I'm still going through my Steam Christmas Sale games.

But once the release-date is revealed, I'll go through Mirror's Edge again to improve my awareness of possible parkouring-routes.

I'm not really playing anything in anticipation fro Brink, since every time I play a shooter, I constantly think to my self, "I wish this was Brink."

Perhaps it's because I know how SD-style games play, and no other shooter can mimic its gameplay and feel, so no other shooters right now (xbox 360) can really curb my appetite for Brink.

I have been playing a lot of Dragons Age recently though - I suddenly got this urge to go back and play it again.

I might hop on some shooters, mainly I''ve been playing through Fallout New Vegas for trophies, but i might make a new PSN and get started on some COD Black Ops, or maybe some MAG. I plan on getting Killzone 3, unless the Devs announce a release date for Brink before KZ3 releases, in which case i'll wait for Brink unless it's too far away

If I had to pick a game for "training" I'd chose Reach since Brink's number of bullets to kill seem like they'd be similar.

However I'm not hardcoe so i've been playing audiosurf and tf2 :D (PC of course because 360 TF2 is HORRIBLE)

i'm playing dc universe online....it's not fps, the multiplayer isn't even remotely team or objective based, and the shooting takes more bullets to kill than seems practical to even carry.

but it's gonna take me a while to finish it and skyrim isn't here yet to hoover up my non work hours yet.
