should I get Fallout NV even tho I am thiknking of waiting for a GOTY edition (would be very weird if one of Bethesda's games didn't get GOTY)

or should i see if i can pick up a copy of Saints Row 2 ???

I got Dragon Age Ultimate Edition + Fable 3 and Final Fantasy 1 + black Ops for x-mas only game i hate atm is FF13 :/ so boring to play its like playing Uno with better visuals since all you do is press the A button and ocassionally press down :/ and black ops is kind of evil saying theres combat trainign for offline but apparantly only if you can connect the console to the internet :/

New Vegas, AC: Brotherhood and Saints Row 2 are all really different games... is there something in particular, such as a favorite feature, you're looking for in the game you buy? Because without knowing that that any recommendations you get will just be because a person likes the game. :shrug:

If you can actually wait long enough for the GOTY edition to come out for New Vegas, then sure, go ahead and just wait for it. I'd be pretty surprised as well if this game didn't get some sort of edition with the game and all DLCs included in one package.

I like long games that take a while to beat or ones that are just enjoyable to play but I mostly love games that allow me to do what I want how I please and when I choose (# 1 reason I hate FF13 is because I can do none of this)

Well, it doesn't take very long at all to finish the main quest of New Vegas, but if you do a lot of the side quests it should last you a while. Saints Row 2 is much more enjoyable imo, but that's because it's just a lot of mindless fun. The story is actually pretty good, and will last you a while unless you rush, but it wont last you as long as New Vegas (if you do the side quests). Of course, Saints Row 2 has much less choice than New Vegas does because SR2 isn't an RPG. You can do it's missions whenever you want, just like in New Vegas, but when you're actually doing a mission there wont be a lot of options for you to take to complete it.

if your going to get NV get it for PC. you'll be able to actually enjoy the game.

Maybe it's just me, but I played Saints Row 2 on the PC and the car control was just awful. I've heard it's much better on the consoles.

I would go with AC:B if you want to wait for the GOTY of FNV then go right ahead and save some money.To me Saints ROw was very unejoyable,being forced to do stupid repative side mission every 5 minutes was lame plus there was really nothing special about the game.

saints row 2 is a 100 times less boring than gta 4 :/ ive played with it before mostly used cheats tho but theres a cane shot gun and weapon that can kill people or bring them back to life so they can be killed again ...

also my comp isnt good enougth to run computer games id be flipping out at it every 3 ins due to laghg or crashing :/

Wait for the GOTY for NV imo. AC:Brotherhood is a really fun game. I'd say get that.
