Wahey! Daggerfall in '99...I was eight and apparently my folks didn't know any better. That box art still gives me the chills.
Oblivion in '08 was what really made me a fan, though. I'm ashamed to admit that Morrowind is a fairly recent purchase. (And by "fairly recent" I mean "bought it off of Steam a month ago.")
I don't wanna sound like one of those people that are like ZOMG oblivion!! Have u seen oblivion 2 is coming out!!! But TES 4 : oblivion was my first elder scrolls game.
Oblivion was the first I played, then Morrowind, then Daggerfall, then Arena. However, I beat Arena first, then Daggerfall, then Morrowind, then Oblivion.
Daggerfall in... must've been about '96. Then I played Redguard, then I sort of lost interest. Then I discovered Morrowind and regained all my old interest plus some. Then Oblivion came out and I hated it, though I've come to accept its faults and at this point probably play it the most of any of them.
Started with Morrowind when I was still in elementary school. Rented it from Blockbuster, got utterly lost, eventually bought it and discovered everything.
I enjoyed Oblivion too, though not as much, and went back to Daggerfall, which was really good for its time.
Daggerfall for me, back in fall of 96. Wow. Getting very old!
Hopefully someone picks Battlespire for the game that got them into TES. I would like to meet the person who played that...experiment...and said "Yes! More of this please!"
I'll never forget the first time I saw Oblivion at a friend's house. I got it and have never looked back. It's my most favorite game of any game ever. I think I said that definitely enough. It had me at hello.
Oblivion. Of the time of morrowind all I played on PC was Age of Empires 1 and 2. Although over the summer I plan to do a MW playthrough just to see what i'm missing. Yeah i'm a YoungFag. :hubbahubba:
OK WHO VOTED THEY NEVER PLAYED A TES GAME BEFORE?????? jk my brother-in-law brought his TES morrowind over one time and i played it and i did since then whenever he did and i visited them (at the time neither i or him knew that there was a MQ to it so we were just running around doing whatever) (Mainly getting lost)
