OK so you may remember BIGFOOT on the NES, the monster truck game, which wasnt really that bad, just weird controls.

Youll notice there is a top down section and a side scrolling section.

Now on the NES side scrolling section, you moved the truck by mashing the d-pad left and right alternatively.

OK Now, the game Im trying to identify:

It was a big arcade and had four trucks you could pick, the controller for each truck was actually a truck from the side with a front and back wheel for buttons.
The whole game was just the side scrolling portion of the above mentioned NES game, but with all four trucks at the same time.
You mashed the tire buttons back and front alternatively, like the NES game did with the d-pad, and it was pretty much just a drag race.


WHAT WAS IT CALLED? ANYONE ELSE EVEN SEEN THAT THING?

Sorry, doesn't sound familiar. If all else fails you could find a list of all games ever released on that platform, and just browse through them all.

But for some reason your post reminded me of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blast_Corps on the N64 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxL59Io3qYI), which was a real nostalgia hit for me.

I attempted that on gamefaqs, and didnt get anything even close.
