Alright, I've seen in enough topics about the debug console for consoles that the PC players tell that we, 360 and PS3 players should NOT get the console. Why is that?
Can someone clear this up for me? First of all, I still don't understand why we don't have the console. But then, I also don't get why the PC players give us a huge NO if we ask for it.

Oh and consoles have a better selection of games.

They feel like we're to blame for their games getting dumbed down.

Im a PC gamer and I don't see why anyone would be upset if console gamers got to use the console or construction set.

Ever since Morrowind I've played TES games on both PC and console. I wonder if anyone else does.

I just get tired of Console people doing the same thing to us PC players and trolling us as well.

Its really a two way street.

PC is superior to the consoles but that does not mean I hate consoles. The fact is we can mod/edit and tweak all sorts of things where as on the consoles you cannot even ~ and use commands.

Also some functions are just not realistic to try to do on the Xbox, not sure Beth would have an explanation I am sure. I couldn't see a proper edit being done with the Xbox for the most part and how would they be shared? Where would the data go? The space it could/would take up would or could be enormous.

Also saying that in BOLD will probably make the antagonist more aggressive. Good luck.

The only console exclusive series which has ever been worth a look is Metal Gear Solid, and that doesn't outweigh the PC exclusives..

Majority of gamers own a console, consoles are limited in every hardware and software application due to the fact they were released more then 4 years ago and cannot be upgraded.

PC gamers have superior hardware and software, this game was designed to be bought by the masses thus limiting this game's evolution and improvements because the masses own a console. Due to the focus being on the masses and the console platforms, PC gamers get less then they could have had, so we are angry about it.

Consoles have slowed down gaming progression. Period. That's the only problem I have with them.

but the main reasons that consoles dont have console commands is because Microsoft/sony wouldnt allow it and its already on PC so its not like the devs are adding anything when its on PC. Also there would be a problem with actually having to type stuff out on a console

Thats why, esp becasue of the xbox., the ps3 could handle the PC graphics since its bluray, but the xbox always makes games super dumbed down.
They should just build it for PC then have a diff team dev it for console.

nothing against the players its against the hardware the ancient hardware that Sony and Microsoft is beating with a stick and milking it for every penny its even isn't worth. I could care less if you play Xbox or Ps3 I just hate how the two system are holding the entire industry back because MS and Sony does not want to spend money and release it possibly loosing customers for a new system.

I'm a PC gamer and I have nothing against consoles. Personally, I think TES is much more suitable on PC than consoles, but your money, your choice. Also, thanks for increasing Bethesda's audience and revenue, thus allowing for larger TES games

Because cross platform games are made to run on the least powerful of the platforms. This causes the game to be less complex and advanced than it would have the potential to be as a PC exclusive. This means many gamers dislike consoles for holding back new games.

Well, there's the matter of the offensively bad, actively malevolent UI that was foisted on the PC users as the game's development target seems to have been mainly consoles...

I am a PC user. I do own a ps3, but only one game for it; Civ revolutions.

I prefer to us e amouse and keyboard; don't like controllers.

I have nothing against console gamers.


As for why some hate you.....

Some games on PC seem to have crappy UI and or Controls only because they were also made for Console users. I don't know it this is really true, but I think it might be.

Another issue is that Console games outsell PC games, and that is bad for PC gamers that like rpg's and strategy games.

I don't really like 'shooters' all that much myself.

That has nothing to do with console players though, that is just down to laziness by Beth.
