What games will keep you going?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 8:34 am

We still have Pokemon.

But I don't own a Nintendo DS :nope:

Getting a DS or the eventual 3DS Lite is one of the things I very much want to do at some point, along with getting a new Xbox 360 to replace my old one that broke so long ago. But as a college student I don't foresee being in the kind of situation where I can spend money on things like that for some time.

I got Two Worlds 2 yesterday, and it's surprisingly fun, a massive improvement from the first.

Pokemon will keep my interest upto, and perhaps even through Skyrim.
And Garrys mod too.

I'm going to buy RDR next week and then probably New Vegas later this year.

They should keep me busy until Skyrim :)

Probably just Black Ops and New Vegas. I haven't had any time to play games lately, so I'm just still getting into those games. I probably won't even get Skyrim until the Christmas break (here's hoping to early final dates and another extended, three week break).

There are so many good games coming out this year I think I might actually have a backlog of games come winter. Unfortunately though they don't really start coming out until April/May and that's just Human Revolution and L.A. Noire, nothing in the summer really interests me but I'm sure HR and LA Noire will be able to keep me entertained throughout the summer.

I've been playing a lot of Bayonetta and Rune Factory 3. Both pretty much only on the weekend, since I have no other time for them. I think I'll finish Bayonetta in a few more weeks, and Rune Factory 3 will last me months and months. Game is an exponential time sink.

Also I plan on buying the ICO/SoC bundle when it comes out at the end of March, so that'll also last me a while. And I have the Secret of Monkey Island that I'm saving for a rainy day, as well as a few DS games that have been completely and utterly forgotten in the wake of Rune Factory 3. Really it's almost as good as Summon Night Swordcraft Story. Adore it.

I'm not even excited for Skyrim at this point. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Aml9w23aHY&feature=related all the way. :twirl:

I have one last achievement I want to hit on OB, and one prestige to finish on MW 1.
Then it's all down to FO3 and MW to keep me occupied, broken up with GW 1 and C&C 3.

Dance Central is fun, until you get tired. Might get the new Mortal Kombat.

Just got a PS3 last weekend (which rounds out my console collection), so I've got a world of games to explore. I've been playing Red Dead Redemption and borrowed Assassin's Creed from a friend.

The duke or a series of low quality Indy games I might get a DS with Pokemon Black/White since my friend is bragging on how sick the game is but I will wait for an official English released I am not to familiar with DS hardware so I probably won't be able to download the translation patch.
