What games will keep you going?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 12:33 pm

Its going to be just under a years wait for Skyrim so what games are you playing to keep your mind off it?

At the moment I am playing Magicka. Hoping to play Shogun 2 total war & dragon age 2 next month when they come out. Not sure how long that will keep me going though O_O

Dragon Age 2, Killzone 3, Bit of COD online. If I really need a RPG fix I might go over Oblivion. Also my brother gave me his old copies of Icewind Dale 1&2 and Baldurs gate. I'm not too strapped for entertainment. But I don't think anything will scratch the itch like Skyrim will :)

Well.. Fnv new Dlc's will probably keep me slightly busy. I also have Assassins Creed brotherhood and Fable 3 which I haven't even started yet. (I'm still playing fallout.) Dragon age 2 will come out. I think I'll have plenty of game options until Nov.

Beneath Steel Sky, Realms of Arkania, possibly Daggerfall; possibly Fallout:New Vegas, Vampire:Bloodlines, Witcher 2.

(in that order)

Interlaced with King's Bounty, Disciples 3, and Wasteland. (in any order); and the occaisional game of Homeworld, Myth2, or Dawn of War.

***Come to think of it though.. I've been eye-balling "Dungeons". I might just get that one. It really appears to be the closest thing to a Dungeon-Keeper 3 as ever will be.

Morrowind vanilla, then Morrowind with mods. Some Fallout New Vegas. Maybe The Witcher 2 if the reviews are favorable. And Civ 4, I never get tired of that jewel.

was gonna say wow

but can't play now since my country are now upgrading the internet service by installing fiber-optic cables (yes we just heard of them this year LOL), so my connection is just good enough for SC2 and such not wow and FPS games.

so for me its SC2, and galactic civilization 2, and maybe metro and masseffect 2.

After playing Witcher and Dragon Age, I have no interest in buying Witcher 2 or Dragon Age 2.

So it's Oblivion for me.

Playing Titan Quest: Gold Edition, Sacred: Gold Edition, and Sacred 2... not really RPG's, but the hack and slash keeps me occupied.

EDIT: I bought them because they were all under $10 each... I am too poor to buy new releases ATM, :( .

Nothing will be able to keep me going. Its going to be a long wait, maybe Mass Effect 2 or Two Worlds 2 might be able to.

Looking forward to Shogun 2, Brink, and Portal 2. When I will find to play between class and work, I am unsure.

I'm almost done with a Kotor2 character. I'll do a Kotor character either after this or after Dragon Age 2. There's definitely an Oblivion playthrough in line. Maybe New Vegas if I must buy something. OH, and if SW:TOR would ever come out...

Oblivion has spoiled me ever since playing that game my outlook on gaming has changed. I no longer like series I've been a die hard fan of(GTA). It also has changed my outlook on life now whenever I go outside on a nice day I admire my surroundings just like I do in Oblivion. Also Oblivion has turned me off completely from linear games and most games are really linear compared to it.
