Don't a lot of people still play Morrowind? I know I do. (and OB)

Yep still playing Morrowind. Graphics enhancers making it look like a recent release, new quests, Tamriel Rebuilt (a huge modding project still in progress and active), and LGNPC (again a large project still in progress and releasing material for MW). I can easily see myself still playing Morrowind for the next few years with new material.

plus if I want to lvl up my sneak skill I put my guy into sneak mode in a corner out of sight of the person he is sneaking skill from and I can walk to the bathroom remote in hand still making him sneak while on the pot lol, cant do that with a pc, and dont knock it till you try it

Yes you can, when I wanted to do that I just rested the corner of a book on my left mouse button and went off to cook dinner or read. Now why a game should make it feel necessary to do that is another matter of course....

Me too (in between playing skyrim of course)
The sound and graphics overhaul mod compilation really did on number on that game and made it so beautiful.

If you want to play any of those games with decent setting I advise against a laptop, unless it's a gaming laptop and even then a desktop would outdo it for a cheaper price. Only get a laptop if mobility is a legitimate concern.

There's no disadvantage (assuming you have a PC capable of running the game well).

That alone is a distinct advantage. Computer graphics cards are light years ahead of the console versions right now. Those are still using technology from 5 years ago, or more. Video card technology has made some huge leaps the last few years and it looks like it might be another 5 years before consoles catch up. On a PC, you should be able to get a video card that will run the graphics in their full glory flawlessly, with the main limitation being your hard drive.

Hey guys, I have a question.
What version should I get ? PC or XBOX ?

I'm more of a PC guy, but after all of these Console Ports ( hell even Portal 2 has some issues.. FOV and "Don't turn off your console" is making me mad.. ) I'm considering getting the XBOX version.

What do you guys think ? Will the PC-Version be a crappy port ? Fallout NV was alright, still had a few console touches that bothered me..

All TES games are designed on the PC, and therefore will work just fine on the PC.

Xbox player here.

Don't be a friggin' moron! Get it on PC, bro. You get mods,a nd it'll probably look better and load faster too. If the option to get it on PC is available, then you shouldn't even need to ask the question. Hell, the only reason I'm getting it on Xbox is because my PC has the processing power of a rat's ear.

lol remember how long it took Morrowind to load on Xbox. OMG I literally could run downstairs and make a sandwich, go back up stairs and it would just be finishing up.

xbox if you're poor, PC if you can get a grown-up system. It's not just about quality but about longevity. The PC version will still be amazing, updated and supported by the ever-loving mod community around TES games years from now. The console version will just be in a dusty stack or sold to buy the next dumbed-down, 15-25 hours of simple entertainment that comprises the console market.

I still play Morrowind on Xbox. It's always nice to be able to grab some food while I wait for the game to load. :P
