What gives, were are the shotguns in dead money?

Post » Thu Sep 02, 2010 1:52 am

I see there is an abundance of 20 gauge ammo and some 12 gauge ammo scattered about the villa but so far I have only found 1 hunting shotgun and that was in the casino, are there any shotguns to be found in the villa?

Yes there are a few. I found a Hunting Shotgun, a Single Shotgun, and a Lever Action Shotgun. All in 50% condition.

There's also a Carawan Shotgun near one of Dean Domingo secret stashes - located in The Villa - it's the one near the skeleton with a spear sticking from his back. Gotta admit that I haven't used a single shell during my playthrough.

You can't find shotgun in the police station earlier. Only can find Sierra Madre' Casino's Executive Suites. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Sierra_Madre_Casino

Or this http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Dean%27s_Secret_Stash

I broke then down to make JFPs for my Police Pistol. Once I found the Hunting shotgun in the Casino, I did use it when I could.

The only shotguns are in the Sierra Madre security area in the executive suites.

Caravan Shotgun is extremely effective against Ghost people.

Is there a 12/20 gauge holotape? because it is much better than spraying .308.

I`ve found caravan shotguns, single shot shotguns and lever action shotguns all around the villa. Mostly in stashes and balconys, some lockers to.

I just went back into DM on a shotgun hunt. They are there, but you have to explore. Turn the brightness up on your display. With that @#!$%^& red wash to everything, it negates contrast and it is hard to see stuff. And take your time in the Suites.
