What im going to do before skyrim comes out

Post » Mon May 16, 2011 12:58 am

What i was thinking about doing was playing everyone of the TES games in a row starting from the first one and ending with oblivion.

Has anyone else considered doing this, or something similar?

Theres alot to do on those games, and the release is not far away... Are you sure you can do all that? i played IV with all the DLC and got sick of it after about a month, its a bit of a hassle, just dont wear yourself out of ES before you buy the newest one.

Areana and Daggerfall are very buggy. I am sticking with Morrowind and Oblivion...and once triple elevensies gets here, Skyrim.

If you plan on playing all of them I would get started right now if I were you. Daggerfall is HUGE. Anyway, I was in the midst of re-playing Morrowind when Skyrim was announced and now I'm on Oblivion. I'm sure I'll still be playing both when it comes out as I have all these years :P

Personally though I can't really get into Arena or Daggerfall, and I don't have Redguard or Battlespire. So, I'll be reading the http://www.imperial-library.info/content/tes-games-storyline over at the Imperial Library about a month before release to freshen up.

I'm currently playing Oblivion, but haven't finished my most recent playthrough of Morrowind (did the MQ and Bloodmoon, and I have to go back for Tribunal). I also started Daggerfall again. Going to see if I can get through it this time. I really want to, but those graphics are really hard for me to get past (it's been ages since I've played a game that old).

I'll also be spending my time with Shogun II: Total War when that releases in March.

I'm getting Two Worlds 2 this Tuesday. (Say what you want people. I can be both an Elder Scrolls and TW fan, lol, although Elder Scrolls is infinitely better, and I would drop my Two Worlds 2 preorder in an instant if Skyrim was coming out anytime soon. I thought Two Worlds was a great game with it's huge open world, various types of landscapes, and loads of loot. Horrible, laughable dialogue and lots of bugs though.) If I see any great dlc for TW2, I'll probably buy it with the MS Points Card I got for Christmas, especially if it adds to that large missing part of Eikronas.

After I finish TW2, I'll probably play Morrowind, and some more RDR (I love roleplaying as a U.S. Marshal in RDR with the U.S. Marshal outfit).

Not sure what else I'll do. I'm looking forward to getting some more detailed previews of Skyrim, especially info regarding how big the world is, and how the farming, blacksmithing, mining jobs work. I truly believe this will be the best game I ever played considering Morrowind and Oblivion were some of the best games I ever played.

I'm playing Morrowind at the moment with a Nord archer. When that's done, I'll bring the character into Oblivion and then onto Skyrim.

BRINK also looks like it should be a fun game.

Personally, I ordered Morrowind last weekend and hope to get a playthrough in before Skyrim. Never played it before but am looking forward to it.

Finish a game of Morrowind. Read Infernal City. Get a pc with specs to handle Skyrim or alternitively a second 360 set up. :)

well what i was going to do was start over again with Oblivion (i think this is Character 4 having beaten the main quest 2 times already) and this is a new style character type for me sneaky marskman... however i contracted vampirism last week and didnt get rid of it before it took hold and i am level 12 and *wait for it* playing on the PS3 for those of you who dont know we never got the patch for the cure vampire glitch so once you fully get vampirism your stuck with it for life... and i hate being a vampire!

i got so made after finding this out i havent played it in a week... ill probly get over it in the next couple of weeks and just start all over again, but right now im just too frustrated

That sounds like a good idea, kinda like importing your character. I've never tried that, seems like something fun to do.

No, I'll go on my with my regular life untill it comes out. I'll be grabbing Dragon Age 2 when it's out and enjoy that for a while, if college permits me to that is, I really don't have much time to play anymore.

Modding Morrowind. I've only been modding for a month or two and since I plan to buy Skyrim for the PC (I previously played on consoles) I want to be familiar with all the different aspects, including using Blender to make new models.

I'm curious how the Creation Kit will differ from the Construction Sets, though I can't imagine it's anything drastic.
