What's Going On With The Website... : V - Skyrim

What I want to know, since I am missing something, when I go to elderscrolls.com, I get the stupid Skyrim video. I can't go to anywhere else, Morrowind, Oblivion or other TES games. So if someone who doesn't know anything about Skyrim and was told to go to elderscrolls, how can they even get to the forums? I have mine booked marked, but how do you go from elderscrolls.com? Is it not loading on my pc properly?

Yea its really confusing and needs to be updated.

Actually I would have waited at least 3 months befoure the official release to announce the TES V .... because now I can't wait

I'm more concerned about what happened to the rest of the site. It used to have a few more things related to TES series, but they disappeared as the announcement came.

Oblivion was as far as I remember it announced two years before release so we should be happy about the info we have gotten so far

Yea its just confusing especially for all the people that the gi world exclusive reveal is going to bring in. Just doesn't make sense.

I really miss the developer diaries from Oblivion and Morrowind's development!

I freaked out over the lack of Arena and Daggerfall downloads until I found out the UESP had both games stored away as downloads. I also barely managed to scavenge my current avatar (or the picture my current avatar is an edited form of, anyway) off the site before the screenshots disappeared.

Don't get to worked up. they will be trickling out information little bits at a time this month. Then they will have some footage for the public either derived from GDC or PAX east. I am hopeing for some Radiant dragon behavior out of GDC. If they are as pleased with the behaviors and the 2 years spent developing dragons and how they interract with the world I would want to show it off as well.

Actually I redact the dragon footage comment. They will most liekly show that off at E3. We will probably get combat footage from GDC or PAX

But there is more than just GI. The rest of the magazines need to be released as well, and then we will probably see an update on the website.

why do people keep bringing up the other magazines?

as i recall, only GAME INFORMER got exclusives... not every single magazine out there.

so stop falling back on an excuse that makes no sense at all.

Uhh..ok. Calm down. No need to be a complely rude. I just thought all the magazines had exclusive rights to Skyrim until they are all released, my mistake. <_<

Yea the dragon stuff I'm sure will be saved for e3. As far as gameplay by gdc/pax east nothing is set in stone about that. Everyone seems so sure that we will get a trailer/gameplay video by then but when it doesn't happen there's going to be a lot of disappointed people here to say the least.
