what's a good morrowind-style enchantment mod?

Post » Fri Apr 22, 2011 12:00 pm

I've been searching TESnexus for a while now and all the mods that give morrowind-style enchanting (aka multiple effects on one piece of armor or clothing) seem to have issues with the effects disappearing, some convoluted implementation system, or both.

just wondering if anyone knows of a mod that allows for multiple constant effect enchantments on apparel without some complex enchanting method or tons of bugs

while enchantment enhanced does have exactly what i am looking for, it has a very annoying issue that only pre-filled soulgems work correctly with it. meaning you have to wait till your lucky enough to find a grand soulgem filled a grand soul in loot. if only it worked with all soulgems then it would be perfect.

Enchantment restore over time sounds great, however =)

Noticed this when looking for another soulgem thread. Enhanced Economy's soulgem magic feature makes all the soulgems you fill yourself automagically switch into a pre-filled soulgem of the right type, so if you use Enhanced Economy, it will work perfectly with the soulgems you fill yourself :)

Sweet! yet another reason to finally switch to enhanced economy. i'm using the living economy plugin that comes with OOO now. Just delaying because, i guess, i have to reinstall OOO to remove LE, which then would mean having to reinstall MMM

btw love your hotkey mod!

No, there's no reason to reinstall OOO. Living Economy comes as a separate esp (or 2 or 3), and you can just delete those without any problem, and then install Enhanced Economy instead. LE is just bundled with OOO, but OOO is in no way using LE.

Thanks :)

I just use advanced magecraft for enchanting and such. No issues with self-filled soulgems.

What I WOULD like to see though, is the ability to put constant effect enchantments on weapons...... so far, I don't think any mod does that.

I don't understand how the gem enchanting thing works really yet...the 300/300 and 40 uses left etc.
If that permanent thing helps alleviate me keeping track of this I'm all for it.
