What If U got an E-mail

Post » Tue Jun 16, 2009 9:09 am

So lets suppose your just waking up one misarable morning, and you just hope for that single one thing whatever that may be, to brighten your allready tiring day, So you drag your tired Ass out of your steaming pit, then you check your game as you fell asleep playing it in the early hours. next thing, you get a drink while you check your mail. Now< lets just imagine> you find an E-mail from from A company who you had constantly badgered for a Beta Key to thier upcoming game, You open the E, only to find that it reads something like, ****Dear WTF_OMG, Because of your repeated and constant posting, we have decided at this time, NOT to give you a Beta Key**** well hell its just an Imaginary situation, but something to think about???

@thehunter117, lol, no mate, im ok ty, Not wanting the Beta, just the complete and finished product is my only problem, apart from seeing all the many postings from WTF_OMG, wanting it all, everything and rite now, lmao, but the imaginary point being, can u see all them consoles and PC's being trashed in a blinding svcky rage, pmsl. i can wait patiently for the release, the crazy thing is, all the info they want or will get just now, is all available from the homepage. if they only look, anything else is a waiting game.

I dont beleive they would ever do this though maybe if you sent them hundreds of emails saying stuff about it maybe but posting on there site I doubt it because the developer wants people to be excited and see how many want it to make it worth while yeah know!

I think it would be simply hilarious, but only if they sent those emails to those who created a "WHERES MY BEAT OMG IM DYING OVER HERE" thread =)

On a related note, spamming community@crytek.com or our work addresses with emails asking for beta keys could potentially cause something equally evil to happen. :P

My whole point was to drop a hint that it was becoming more than a nuisance to regular normal threads, more over, it was quite clear that ppl were just registering, then proceeding straight to forum, and posting that suff all over the damn place, they only had to take time to get to know the homepage, and then the layout, wich I think was quite well thought out, tell the spamming all over started, this seemed to throw the scheme right outa da window. still things are now improving a bit, and I think this trend will now continue. :-)

Whoa there, you guys need to get yourself some mod/admin avatars, STAT. Having Cry-in your name isn't good enough when everyone looks the same.

I was often Cry-ing when I was married, lmao, but mod/admin presence seems limited at this time, was thinking maybe a mole or two be present though lol, the whole thing about beta is way outa hand though, I see a new posting or two on that everytime I sign in, and not just under general, but anywhere they can post, ive said it before, "most questions have alread been covered on the homepage" and any further info will be posted in due course, though now i am starting to see some interesting topics emerging at last.
