What's so great about werewolves anyway?

Post » Sun Oct 16, 2011 5:25 am

I do think werewolves are pretty cool and it would be nice if they were in, but why are so many people making such a big deal over it? Were they amazing in Morrowind or something?
I wouldn't even want to be a werewolf in the game, similar to how I never wanted to be a vampire in Oblivion.

I'm pretty sure they will be the last "big reveal", I mean if they weren't in the game they wouldn't just give their little "eye-wink" "We can't answer that question" response everytime someone asks, they would just flat-out say no, like all the other times (spears etc.). I guess they could just be leading everyone on to keep the hype going?

Which leads me back to my main point, why the hype?

Lol I'm not making a "OMG WEREWOLVES" thread, I just was curious as to why there is such a big deal about them.

This (though it woulda been better if they got Patrick Stewart to play Jacob... he's so hot)

I dunno probably the same reason people WUB vampires, plus it just adds an extra creature to be wary of and an extra way of playing.

We've come to the point where 11/11 is exciting not because Skyrim will be released, but because the werewolf threads will stop.

Gee what a brilliant reply. The guy asks an honest question and you give the head shake. Are you this freaking rude in person too?

This has already been done several times, do a search. Nothing unique here.

Yeah I mean it's only fair if the game consists of love triangles between werewolves and vampires, right?

Stop making werewolf threads, it's annoying when the game is going to be released in less than 4 weeks. 1 whole [censored]in year of werewolf threads showing on this forum.

Do you reckon Bethesda would put in some nod to this in some way, maybe even in an NPC conversation? Could be pretty funny.

e.g.
"Did you hear about that Nord girl who is dating a vampire AND a werewolf"
"Despicable creatures"
"I'm done talking with you"
"Goodbye"

I'm gonna miss Oblivion NPC convos lol

I don't care much about werewolves, don't get why everyone wants them so badly either.

I dont get the hype about werewolves either. I just read every response on the first page and not one person answered the question. That is pathetic, more people would rather troll than just help someone out.

Now when someone "uses the search" and finds this thread, they are going to find a ton of garbage like most of the other werewolf threads. I post on some other big forums and it would be nice if this forum had the "do not tell people to use the search unless you answer the OP's question" rule. So in the future, when joe blow uses the search and finds a thread like this, he doesnt have to waste him time reading nonstop trolling and sarcasm, which inevitably leads to him making a thread of his own... to only get trolled and ridiculed himself.

The good news is that same person who searches this forum will find the hundreds of other threads that actually do answer his question.

Thanks, you said exactly what I was thinking. Why can't people just answer the question, I don't see what the problem is, I haven't even seen a werewolf thread for weeks.
