You know what grinds my gears?! Shifty Assassins that talk about Call of Duty!!! :P

Seriously, something that grinds my gears: A female friend of mind can literally goes days without brushing her teeth. Her excuse is that she forgets and that she does not like doing it...
That among other things make me feel like I'm talking to a child when I'm around her sometimes. (She's 17 by the way.)

Also what really grinds my gears. Is not having an Xbox for Xbox exclusives :(

Many, many things. I feed off of RAGE, it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

The main thing that grinds my gears is my awful memory. I don't even remember things that grind my gears until I see them. Then I forget about them days later and can no longer feed off the RAGE.

So hungry...

While I am in no way a spelling or grammar Nazi, it irks me a little bit when people use "to" instead of "too" as in "also"; and we have largely forgotten how to use the semicolon.

I to agree with this; also too be a grammar Nazi, one must be peeved at every tiny misteak not to be irked by this and that. Did that annoy you?

Right. What grinds my gears? People who always assume you are wrong/stupid. Like in Maths 1, there was a question no body could figure out. It was something like:

A 45 m piece of rope is tied between to top of two 30 m poles, vertical in the ground, with 7.5 m of the lowest part of the rope off the ground. How far apart are the poles?

This is from what I remember, so it isn't all word-for-word. Onwards, my friends and I were trying to figure it out, when he eventually came to the conclusion that the poles were right next to eachother, no space inbetween, then this other guy said, "Jaaaaaames" with a tone indicating that "James" (his name isn't really James) was inncorrect. James here tried to debate with, lets say "Declan", and prove that he was right. Declan kept on repeating, "Jaaaaaaames", whenever James tried to say why his answer was correct. I hate it whenever people assume others can never do things right, yet they themselves don't try to prove why the other is wrong.

I guess we're talking about pet peeves in general.

People who breathe obnoxiously loud through their nose. Snoring is another one that comes to mind.

Over sensitive politically correct people.

Chewing with one's mouth open is the equivalent of nails on a chalk board to me. aka "smacking." This is seriously the one that "grinds" my gears. It awakens such a furry in me that I just want to grab the person by the throat, knock their teeth in and thrust my thumbs through their eye sockets while I jab ice picks into my ear drums just so I can get the sound to stop ringing through my ears.

People who like to make low blows while being on the other end of a key board over the internet. It's just cowardly. If you must say such things, grow a spine and say it to the poor guy or girl's face. I would honestly love it if you did so I can strangle you Homer Simpson style. If you can't deal with that then please refer to mom's old sayings hand book, "if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all."

Cricket's (My bird) obsession with my laptop. He seems to think that since I'm always bashing the keys, he can join in. He always tries to pull them off- I have an Acer Aspire, the keys aren't flush, he can grab them real easy- and he constantly drops seeds under them and poops on it. I usually catch him before he poops but sometimes he's really sneaky about it. No matter how much I remove him or try block hin off from it, he climbs back on somehow. It's worse when I'm gaming, and he tries to eat things on the screen, pushes the space bar all the time in the middle of a fight, shoves his head in between my fingers for scratchies and climbs on my mouse hand. But it's too funny for me to be seriously angry at him. Right now he's trying to eat what I'm typing...

I also use Ak-47 Extended Mags and Dual Makarovs.

I hate when people argue about Call of Duty.

Parents who let their kids use the mini-terrain park as a bunny hill. All the kids do is cut me off and fall down on the tow rope.

People who have been skiing for half a day and go HURR DURR I CAN SKI BACKCOUNTRY SOLO and go down the difficult runs and crash.

Boarders who slide down the entire hill and push all the snow down with them, leaving a huge path of ice.

Idiots who fall down at the top of the lift.

He really is, he's really young so everything's very exciting for him. But he still grinds my gears  I was considering posting a vid of him trying his absolute hardest to stop me from playing Oblivion, but I haven't got round to actually filming him yet. Maybe I'll get there one day.

Most of the western world has a problem with obesity not just America.

Canada,the UK,France,Germany.

Though it is a weird thing as someone could be 5'8 and weigh 180 lbs while being in shape and muscular and still be considered obese.

bullies and over protective people (not that over protective people are bad, just that they tend to grind my gears more often than not)

When people say "volumptuous" instead of "voluptuous". Just now there was a discussion on the radio and two people kept saying it and it really annoyed me lol.
Also when people say "nitch" instead of "niche". I know that's just down to pronunciation and there's no definitively right way of saying it, but "nitch" really grinds my gears for some reason :P

sounds like you are part of a very small...
Spoiler
niche
when it comes to that.

Bah, if sense is so common then why is it that when I talked to my girlfriend about her bringing me a beer that she just stormed out and broke up with me? Me!? ANd I had just bought two of the very-most-expensive top-of-the-line computers for me and her too. It was worth it though because I drove to the store LIKE A BOSS, because, as you know, turn signals are for wimps with no manhood, and driving on the correct side of the road is for losers. If you don't drive LIKE A BOSS you are a loser, all the cool people do it.

Oh well, at least the inheritance that I got from my parents will help pay me through a few more years of unemployment while I "look" for a job. God I'm awesome.

What grinds my gears? I thought you'd never ask.

#1: When people play those dorky games with the elfwizardtrolls and "magic". God it's so lame.
#2: People who play shooter video games. If you want to shoot something you need to join the military! Like my big brother, Bob. He was pretty cool.
#3: People who complain about stuff. Stop complaining, it makes you look like a poser, yo.
#4: Fish. I just hate the smell. Ugh.
#5: People who read comic books. Grow up, nerds.
#6: People who play games like Guitar Hero. If you want to play a guitar in front of lots of people, like my younger brother, Larry. Well, before he died of an extreme Rock Overdose.
And finally #7: Anybody without a sense of humor. I will strangle anybody who thinks these are my actual opinions on... anything. :tops:

You know, it just occurs to me that I don't really know any native English words that rhyme with niche, other than perhaps 'sheesh'... Though that one is a made-up word anyhow. Other than that, they all seem to come from French (like quiche). So I suppose I can forgive them for their most heinous mispronunciation in this case.

What grinds my gears? People who, after you deliberately do a minor good deed for them (like holding the door open, for instance), not only do not say 'Thank you', but DELIBERATELY AVERT THEIR EYES. Shameful indeed.
