What grosses you out?

By the way, I looked at the Vault and a picture of them starring right at you is scary as hell... http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Failed_FEV_subject, if you dare!

For me it wasn't so much how they looked, but it was thinking about the process involved in making one.

In other words, making a human like that.

Still gives me the heebie jeebies to this day. :bonk:

Kinda less gross and more terrible. Especially if you were the human before the failed FEV experiment. I'd be flipping the [censored] out to be honest.

Thats putting it mildly for sure.

FEV, while interesting, sure can do some terrible things. :yucky:

Okay! So I was wandering around DC yesterday and came across the building that has the secret to the amazing Aqua Cura! :foodndrink: I stumbled upon the Wigs and listened to the holotape and when Griffon says, "Oh, and stay away from the wigs. I don't want your greasy heads touching them!" I thought it was disgusting thinking about nasty fleshy ghoul scalp inside the wigs... so... what grosses you out in Fallout 3?

my character wore one of his wigs. then i went too see griffon in the museum of history with the wig on.. one of the funniest moments in FO3.

those gore bags and eating corpses is gross.

I know what you mean! They seemed so different... and then they say "I'd love to have you for dinner." Pretty big clue if you ask me! Om nom nom. :bolt:

Those gory body-part balls that Super Mutants leave behind after they dissect and eat the people they capture.

I think they're called "Gore Bags"? :read:

This. And I hate the noise they make when you open them. Disgusting.

Nothing scares me. I'm the toughest roughest, badass out there in the wastes. Pick a fight with me, and get your leg chopped off. I'll leave you there to bleed. (Enters Vault 87) (Looks at failed FEV subjects) Holy [censored]! WTF are those things? (Runs away, but trips on gore bag) Aaaaahh!!! (Runs into Centaur with Raider's dismembered limbs in mouth) Holy crap! I give up! (Super Mutant taps my shoulder) (I turn around) Fuuuuuuu-(Squish) That's the tale of how I came to be stuck in this gore bag. Remember kids, stay the [censored] away from Vault 87!!

Missing picking up the cherry bomb in the toilet and accidentally drinking out of the bowl instead :(

I still have nightmares from the first time I found a toilet and noticed the option to 'use' them.

Fev subjects, gore sacks full of body parts and the sound it makes when you open and close it, any and all raider bases as they are full of body parts, wastelanders tortured and hung in disgusting positions, i hate raiders, it feel good ridding the captial wasteland of their kind, Centaurs look gross too.

Cannibal perk. Icky, especially since you seem to be going after the entrails of your... ah, repast. At least the Andaleans turn it into a pie and cook it first.
Centaurs: Disgusting abominations in every sense of the word. I normally avoid unnecessary killing, but centaurs are by their very nature necessary killing.
Feral ghouls: Also necessary killing.
Human/Ghoul six: I mean... ew. Yes, we know Dukov's not an anti-ghoul bigot, but that was TMI.
The failed FEV subjects. Blechhh.

Things that gross me out in different ways:
Blowing up Megaton: Mass-murdering innocents... sick and evil. If I were James, I'd headshot Mr/Ms 101 for that.
Kidnapping Bumble: Doing something that evil to someone so sweet and innocent. No, I never actually had the stomach to do either of these things, but I watch Youtube.

Regarding this, I too could never bring myself to do this ... then I realised ... I had done 12 playthroughs, I was on my 13th, priding myself on having done and seen everything, collected everything, experienced all the karmic endings, done each mission every was possible ... the one thing missing was helping to kidnap a child for the slavers. So I bit the bullet, and did it. I thought I'd feel terrible ... and for a few minutes I was iffy .... but when it's not a real-life situation, even something as horrible as that doesn't bother you after a while. :sadvaultboy:

That's called de-sensitizing yourself, games like F3 helped me watch the surgery scene in Blackhawk Down.

Centaurs are really gross. I have that "KILL IT KILL IT WITH FIRE" mentality when they approach me.

I think Super Mutants are butt-ugly but not really gross. There gross, but not in the centaur kind of way.

Comments like these make me wish for a good gaming PC.

You don't need anything too hardcoe (by today's standards) for F3 even if you mod it up.
But it's worth it, even if it is the most complicated modding process I've ever experienced. You get enough mods like this MMM, FWE, and Weapon Mod Kits - it feels like a completely different game. It's a bit addicting though - now I got those working right I want to add GNR More, Zeta Crew, and DC Interiors.

OT- Same for me: I thought the failed experiment was gross enough in the Vault but when you got one chasing you down it's a little nauseating. Centaurs make my skin crawl too but not as much.

More creepy than gross but the Peter Stevens terminal entries in Vault 87, especially the last one, saying:
Cantstandthesoundsanymore
takethepillstheysaywhytakethem
IAMNOTCRAZYIAMNOTCRAZYJasonslaughternofamilygoneforever
stuckherefor evereternityend
IamsaneIammeIamforever

Then childrens laughter after you exit the terminal..

Looking up closely at a Centaur. That's the only thing I can think of that would gross me out.
