What grosses you out?

Post » Mon Aug 22, 2011 2:35 pm

Okay! So I was wandering around DC yesterday and came across the building that has the secret to the amazing Aqua Cura! :foodndrink: I stumbled upon the Wigs and listened to the holotape and when Griffon says, "Oh, and stay away from the wigs. I don't want your greasy heads touching them!" I thought it was disgusting thinking about nasty fleshy ghoul scalp inside the wigs... so... what grosses you out in Fallout 3?

Looking up closely at a Centaur. That's the only thing I can think of that would gross me out.

Those gory body-part balls that Super Mutants leave behind after they dissect and eat the people they capture.

I think they're called "Gore Bags"? :read:

This. But not just the sight of them, disgusting as they are. It's that squelching sound that you hear when you open one up that gets me. Yuck.

Yeah, be sure that no small children or squemish people are nearby when you do.

I'll be sure to be alone, thanks for the tip. :P
Although it'd be fun to bring a friend over at 1AM... But meh. I'm not that evil.

I had a modded one of those [censored]ers run towards me in the northern grasslands near Constantine yesterday, it was horrible.

Missing picking up the cherry bomb in the toilet and accidentally drinking out of the bowl instead :(

Failed FEV subjects are funny as hell.

Marts Mutant Mod?

Just got that recently and ran into several of the FEV subjects near Vault 92.

....on top of that it was pitch black when I was attacked since I was using the "Apocalypto" mod.

Great stuff.

This, those things freaked me out for a really long time, still seeing one upclose freaks me out a little...

I know that if I hadn't played the game as long as I did before I reached Vault 87 I would be freaked out by those, but at that point O was so desensitized that I just thought they looked cool.

For me it wasn't so much how they looked, but it was thinking about the process involved in making one.

In other words, making a human like that.

Still gives me the heebie jeebies to this day. :bonk:

I never thought of them like that, I guess I just can't wrap my mind around how a human can become that...

By the way, I looked at the Vault and a picture of them starring right at you is scary as hell... http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Failed_FEV_subject, if you dare!

EDIT- Apparently they were supposed to be an enemy only in Vault 87, I wish they were and that they were a lot tougher than supermutants because when I walked in their with Paladin Cross, Dogmeat, and then Fawkes we were invincible.
