What'll Happen If I Do This?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 10:03 pm

I'm a Barbarian Nord born under the sign of the Warrior. These are my stats:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Major Skills:
Armorer - 59
Athletics - 86
Blade - 100
Block - 100
Blunt - 100
Hand to Hand - 100
Light Armor - 71

Minor Skills:
Heavy Armor - 52
Alchemy - 28
Alteration - 25
Conjuration - 6
Destruction - 36
Illusion - 7
Mysticism - 7
Restoration - 38
Acrobatics - 83
Marksmen - 15
Mercentile - 17
Security - 37
Sneak - 100
Speechcraft - 36

Attributes:
Strength - 65
Intelligence - 30
Willpower - 30
Agility - 40
Speed - 45
Endurance - 60
Personality - 30
Luck - 50

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you might have guessed, I'm still level one. This time around I have made it my goal to reach 100 in every skill before I meditate on what I've learned. I'd been wondering a lot if this is in my character's best interest though. Will waiting until my skills are maxed out maximize every attribute as well? What attributes will recieve bonus points if I level up right now? Is this a hopeless cause? Was there even a point to listing my stats? Don't you like when I ask a lot of questions?! :stare:

I'm on Xbox 360 by the way so I'm assuming you guys with PC's already know what will happen considering you have the ability to use console commands.

Impossible to say without knowing what you had done at each level up you didn't sleep on. I would just stay at level one forever, you've come this far.

Lol there's too many mudcrabs! Do you know what would happen if I actually did get to lvl 100 in all skills, then level up? I mean as far as attributes go. I'm already guessing that sleeping enough times will boost me to level fifty.

It wouldn't really be anything spectacular. You'd just have a ton of leveling up to do and attribute points to assign.

You get three points to place on three different Attributes on every level up-minium. I am not sure if an Xbox keeps track of the skill gains for each Attribute when you gain the ability to actually level up.
Every Attribute but Luck can be at 100 around level twenty, but this requires keeping track of what skills you trained between levels. This is using the +5,+5,+5 method.
You should be around level 45 when you decide to sleep and go thruogh forty or more level increases.
I do not have a calculator for figuring this out, but somone else will probably give you a link to find it.

You get to level 47 I think. Everything goes up loads, but don't expect any +5's on strength, with all three melee weapon skills as majors, and guess what, you will definitely need new kit.

That's... disappointing...

I remember that it gives you three to five extra points to spend on certain attributes if you leveled up a particular way. Then again, I haven't leveled up in a long time. Does this mean that if I don't get any skill increases after level two (which I won't since everything will already be lvl 100) I won't get any bonus points to add to attributes? And I thought the maximum level was fifty!

and guess what, you will definitely need new kit.

I will?

Leather armour and silver weapons just don't cut it when the bandits wear glass, and use ebony axes.

Oh, kits as in equipment. I think I'll take a break every five levels just to collect all types of armor/weapons.

Well I'm still too apprehensive about visiting my bedroll. Just gonna achieve my goal by the time Skyrim comes out and tell you how things worked out when I do.

When I used to crawl into a dungeon with a few extra sets of armor and alot of potions, The game kept track of what Attributes were raised every level, Experimenting by sleeping twice will not really hurt your character.
