I agree that Johnny Guitar is an insanely irritating song, but for the most part, I greatly prefer the track list for NV. F3 only had a few songs I sorta liked.

I preferred GNR in every way but it wouldn't suit the broke back mountain theme of fonv .

If you dont' like the in game music, then just go to options and go to music and shut it off. Then you can turn off and radio and not hear the "horrors of the in-game music"

I'd choose Mr. New Vegas over Three Dog any day. Johnny Guitar is a drag though. I'd like a little more Ink Spots, a little less whiny songs like these:

- Johnny Guitar
- Love Me As Though There Were No Tomorrow
- Mad About The Boy
- Why Don't You Do It Right?

Indeed Obsidian, why don't you do it right?

Gimme more upbeat or laidback jazz, blues and country. Not this annoying and depressing music.

Had to turn off radio and music due to freezing issues. Maybe I can get them back now that the patch is out.

I'd much rather hear Johnny Guitar than Butcher Pete any day. That said, Aside from that one song I do prefer Three Dog's songs list a bit more, though it just doesn't quite fit in with the western style that is New Vegas.

I find that boots in the sand and the faint sound of wind, the occasional crackle of a Geiger Counter, and the sound of a steel revolver being being drawn... you never hear the shot, one never does when it goes home... i find that it sets the atmosphere fine.

Oh my God... I actually like that song despite it being incredibly bad.

Anyways there were a couple songs I liked more in Fallout 3 but

3DAAAAAAAWGGGG AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! got annoying fast. I do wish there was more variety in NV though.

I prefer Fallout 3's music too, there's not a single song on its radio I don't like. New Vegas's music isn't bad though, there's just a couple songs I can't stand, "Johnny Guitar" and "Mad about the Boy" being prime examples. I think another Sinatra song would have helped immensely, but Sinatra songs cost an arm and a leg to license.

I like the music in both games; however, I think Three Dog's show was more enjoyable - we had Daring Dashwood, more reference to our own actions and so forth.

Mr New Vegas takes a while to get used to, he is a little dry and boring compared to 3dog but he does have his own charm. I think it suits the somewhat dry landscape of NV compared to DC. As for the songs, same deal. Peggy lee's "why don't you do right" is one of my favorite songs now:

I never turn on the radio in New Vegas anymore. I'd like to, because I like to listen to music of the era they want you to imagine yourself in, but damn I hate the music in this game. It's repetetive and inane, and quite often, it barely randomizes so I will hear the same song way too often. It's a joke they couldn't find better music, since I am betting that most, if not all, of these tracks are public domain and there are no liscencing fees for public domain music.
