What happened to all the old heroes from previous games?

Post » Thu Sep 15, 2011 1:28 am

I am just wondering what happened to all the old heroes like the Eternal Champion, The Agent, The Nerevarine, and The Champion of Cyrodiil. Pretty sure the guy from Red Guard Cyrus is looooog dead so I am not asking about him and the Battlespire Hero I don't really know much about him at all.

The only thing I know about any of them is that the Nerevarine let for Akavir before the Oblivion Crisis and the CoC is possibly Sheogorath now.

If you know anything about them state it as fact. Put this at the top of you post. FACT . If it is conjecture you can put CONJECTURE or just put nothing.

So what do you know happened or what do you think happened to the old Heroes? Please don't just say Dead...

You are the main character in TES's storylines. You get to decide.

Everyone's explanation will be different.

Edit- That being said, I have a feeling we'll hear some conversations or be able to read about the actions of the Champion of Cyrodiil post Oblivion-crisis.

This is somewhat true but none of us decided for the Nerevarine to go to Akavir did we?

MY own person story is that the heroes in all the games were the same guy, a Breton, and he went off to die unrecognized and penniless in High Rock :celebration:

My guess is that all the heroes are being saved for something. By some various force or another. But did the previous games mention what happened to the Eternal Champion and The Agent?

My guesses:

1. Morrowind- Died on the trip to Akavir due to boat sinking.

2. Oblivion-
Spoiler
Became Sheogorath.

3. Skyrim- Eaten by Alduin years after the game ends.

I have a feeling that someone decided that their Nerevarine went to Akavir, it's hard to speak for everyone on that sort of thing, but I get where you're coming from. However, in Oblivion, people only said that as a rumor, they said they'd heard about it. There was no record of the Nerevarine going to Akavir.

Personally, I think the Nerevarine went to Akavir with a Maormer that he met on the Eastern coast of Morrowind. They sailed to Akavir, and were separated there. The Maormer went on to become the Champion of Cyrodiil, the Prince of Madness, and then tore her draconian soul off of the newly formed daedric soul so that it could manifest her original body, and travel into Skyrim. Just saying.

The Nerevarine was basically protected by Azura. I don't think she would let his/her boat sink...lol unless she wanted to curse the oceans with ashy colored water and red froth.

Azura's dead. Vivec killed her during that fake invocation ritual where he's supposed to be judged for his crimes, and the Azura in Oblivion is a fake, just like you become a fake Sheogorath. Nerevarine, without Azura's protection is now mortal. He gets smug after killing Gods and even after getting poisoned he says I'll take a bath before heading to the temple to get cured. Nerevarine stupidly dies from poison not realising he's no longer immune to poison (poison's a disease) since Azura's long dead.

Happy faces for everyone.

On the Nerevarine I thought of up of a couple of interesting things, although they are clearly false it makes sense.

1. The nerevarine prophecy did not address kicking out the imperial invaders out, but rather the a future invasion by the Argonians. Nerevar has spent the last 200 years establishing himself in Akavir and rallying an army strong enough to reclaim the province of Morrowind. There could be NPC talks of ships being spotted eastward from morrowind during Skyrim.

2. (the stupid theory) Nerevar somehow found a way to get the Ka Po Tun to turn into the dragons they have been aiming for and has been conspiring with their leader, who is rumoured to be planning an invasion on Tamriel. Now they have built an army of dragons and begun their invasion beginning with Skyrim. Nerevar is the villain behind Skyrim, Alduin was just a cover-up story.

If it is the same person then he/she should have learned to stop breaking the law by now surely :P. I don't think personally that you are the same person however I will be surprised if there isn't one or two lines about the oblivion crisis. Whether it involves your character Champion of Cyrodiil I don't know.

They descended to the glorious realm of the nine, were beer flows from the nipbles of goats and there is never a bosmer in sight.

FACT:

Your wrong. The timelines do not add up for one. The events of Morrowind and the Oblivion crisis are only about 7 years apart. So unless they can be reincarnated while the past one is still alive then that makes no sense.

Of course there is every possibility that you were being a smart ass.

Not really the thread but I've never understood the reason Bosmers are so hated other than maybe a few of the NPC's. Anyone care to explain to me please and sorry I know this isn't the thread to be asking but no point in me making my own thread. Bosmers are my favorite playable race.

I actually like your first theory. I wonder what would happen if the Nerevarine was an Argonian though?

TES 1, Eternal Champion: Was reimprisoned in the IC prison for taking too long in rescuing Uriel. Later released as the Emperor attempted to escape some assassins.

TES 2, hero guy whose title i can't remember: Crushed under a golem

TES 3, Nerevarine: Went to Akavir. Found some sort of portal to another realm where he eventually took a job delivering packages while wrestling two headed bears and skirt wearing cows. Unfortunately, on one delivery he was robbed and shot in the head. "Probably" dead now.

TES 4, Champion of Cyrodiil: Went crazy after Martin took all the glory from the Main quest. Hit head on a rock in the middle of a lake and was later found spouting nonsense about killer crystal men attacking his island.

TES 5, Dovakiim: Overdosed on Hist and Skoom and starting running around Skyrim screaming that dragons are attacking. It's obviously a lie, as dragons are either too high in the sky to see or invisible when close to the ground.

True story. :goodjob:

Beacuse they refused to drink the 9's goat beer and were thus banished. Do you not know lore?
