What happened to everybody? : Othor Games

I went back to some of teh way older posts and ive seen alot of poeple not on today. some are Jessalon,brinkgamerhead, and a bunch of others. anyone know why? i know we have a new wave of people comin in (me part of it) to fill the spaces but im sure theirs a history with everyone. is this the NG?

The game was originally set for Spring 2010, then got delayed for 6 months on two separate occasions, so some of the people who came to the forums a year ago (or more) got tired of waiting. A lot of people also found the game durring expo season last year, Brink was the star of the show at E3 and EGE. There was a lot of information coming out from the expos at that time, and the people who heard about Brink then were disappointed when the new info stopped coming.

Heck I am occasionally surprised that I am still here. Still someone needs to care the torch not that there are plenty of good people to carry should I drop it.

Couple of people don't like the forum rules, others just read, some left after finding out that Brink was not what they're looking for.
That's why we try to minimize the amount of repetitive topics.

i get why their not here. still confuzed on teh idea of repetive topics. i understand its annoying but usually theirs something not answered... :angel: IDEA create a general thread. ask any question and the next post is an answer

this is the official Brink forum, there are other fan sites and such, but this is the Bethesda Brink forum

this is "THE OFFICIAL" Brink site

Splash Damage has a Brink forum, but the site is mostly about mapping and modding their previous games, after release I assume it will also continue with Brink mapping and modding as it's main function

Actually it's a lot like this forum people discussing the game and it's functions as well as other forums for their previous games and competitive sections in their forums. People over there like to look down on people from this forum and take a elitist approach which is really pathetic, so I urge you to visit both and be part of the community

We're still here , but me for example , I mostly read it by now because some topics are getting repetitive. A lot of (clueless

) people who aren't familiar with the search function spam the forum with questions they could find the answer to just by using the search function

. That plus the fact I'm doing my internship in a bank at the moment , so not that much of spare time left

Qft. The peeps at the splash Damage Brink forum are generally contrarian and obtuse elitist snobs, for reasons which I've yet to understand.

Makes sense. We keep getting new people coming and posting threads we've discussed and finished with.

That's how forums work – it's a very cyclical process.

Also because inactive threads are pruned every once in a while. The new people are just as excited as the 'old' ones were and bring up the same topics of interest. The key is for the regulars to stay patient.

Regardless, this isn't exactly about Brink the game. You could discuss the state of the (entire) forums in the Community Discussion.

We do however not allow discussion on accounts and people.
