I have to admit, when I first got my hands on Crysis 2 for ps3 I absolutely loved it. I played the campaign religiously until I'd gotten everything maxed out and all the trophies etc. Knowing all the while about the hype that the original got for PC without the ability to play it. So needless to say when Crytek offered Crysis with Crysis 3 preorde, i jumped at the chance. So 1st thing i did was play through 3 on Veteran and beat it in 6 hours, only missing a few modules and dataphiles etc. And although epic gameplay was far too short. Now since then I've started a Crysis campaign and am fully and completely blown away at how much different the gameplay is from 2&3.. I've said since C2 that they need to put nanosuits on a Battlefield type game. Little did I know, THEY ALREADY DID with Crysis! Right now im driving a tank around a huge open valley killing enemy armor and infantry like im playing a Crytek battlefield game.. And its absolutely amazing. My only question, is why did Crytek stray so far from this huge open world tactical masterpiece style of gameplay in favor of the more closed world, full frontal style of shooter? Please dont mistake this post as any sort of trash talking on any of the 3 games because as I stated above, I love the series. But I'd also be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with their direction after playing the original
