Altmer are still fighting Numidium? what do they have to do with Numidium?

Tiber sieged Alinor with the Numidium to get Summurset to surender and join the empire. While the siege lasted only a day (a couple of hours?), Alinor was actually besieged until "well into the 5th era" due to Numidium's divine stomppy time defying qualities.

He means the Altmer wizards in Dracochrysalis are in the person of Auriel, and Auriel's fighting the Numidium's siege of Alinor. Because, for Time, there is no past, present or future, so they can be doing this thing as long as time's still around. Why do they do it? Maybe they invented Time.

It's just another way of saying the same thing, that [censored]'s broke.
