What happened to the vampire morph?

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 3:30 pm

Am I just blind or has the vampire morphs been totally removed? No noticeable change when becoming a vampire and no changes between the different hunger levels. What's going on Beth, admittedly Oblivions vanilla vampire system was pretty rubbish and the vampire morphs and ageing where far from perfect but it was better than no effect at all. What with the vampire mechanic being if anything worse than oblivion (the buffs/debuffs just feel very.... dry) and there being no physical change in appearance I'm left feeling like it wasn't even worth having vamps in at all. Of course mods can fix the mechanics side but with no morph system to mod appearance its not going to be as interesting as it could and should of been.

I'm honestly flabbergasted....

Your eyes just change to black color so people just think your a half dark elf or just a dark elf with fangs.

Its true, there is no visual change that occurs from the advanced stages of vampirism. However, your character, or at least my male Breton did, changed from a tan looking fellow to a greyish white undead looking vampire, very cool. I especially like the eyes. At first glance they look like a Dark Elf's eye, but if you look closely, the pupils are yellowish with red around them. At stage 4 I am guessing that people can tell you are a vampire because you are starving for blood and can't hide it anymore.

Oh that note...Does anyone find it weird how 'static' and 'samey' the females look? They all seem to have the same body. The exact same body.

That body works for a bar maid, mage, or bard. However I don't think the frail forum, and skinny little arms, work quite as well when she's swinging a huge two handed sword.

The men all look unique but, its weird, the women all look the same. o_O
