Do they just stay or do you lose them, or do they transform to a different outfit thats not holiday related?

thanks

My experience with the Halloween is they will be gone.

Actually I do not like that much, as it is not really good and the boxes are now flush with this 2 items. I prefer to have the other mix.

They remain. I still have plenty of dwellers wearing Halloween and Thanksgiving clothing.

We really need some clothes that give +2 to LUCK and +3 to something else. The Elf Suit is a good start, with it's +3 INT and +2 Luck. With a lab full of elves, production is fast and rushing is easy. We need more like that.

By the way, the elf suit looks different for males and females. Nice touch!

The Santa suit isn't as good, though. +3 PER and +2 Cha. Not quite as useful as the elf suit.

I'm guessing that we'll get a Cupid outfit for Valentine's, and a Leprechaun suit for St Patricks, and a Bunny suit for Easter. 4th of July might get us an Uncle Sam costume, and/or maybe a Lady Liberty outfit.

What I mean is they're no longer available in the wasteland and lunchboxes after the season.

When are they going to stop giving holiday stuff? I've stopped opening lunchboxes, because I'm tired of getting the same two outfits over and over. Just saving them, until it goes back to normal.

It does not matter whether you open it or not, the content is fixed at the time you get it.

Try stop fulfilling the objectives and stop buying. When they are disappeared from the wasteland, they won't come with the lunchboxes.

I thought the content wasn't fixed until you selected the lunchbox for opening? Man, I wish gamesas would tell us some stuff.

Seriously.. so many things I've had to figure out, that should have been explained along the way. "All the stats do stuff," the tip tells me, but we're never told what, exactly? Level 50s wiith 1 endurance, in lv.3 upgraded 3-wide rooms, wondering why even with the best +endurance gear, they still kept dying. Or, when I was new to the game, and would send my dwellers into the wasteland, watching every encounter, recalling them after 5 minutes. Hmm, 6 minutes. OMG 15 minutes, they're gonna die! I had an objective to equip one dweller with a laser rifle, but even after 20 minutes, still no laser rifles!

Wonder how many people give up on the game, before figuring anything out at all.

Bethesda should have told that the laser rifle is in the lunchboxes, however, it may take a fortune to get it.

I've found a few in the wasteland. You just have to be out there for 2-3 days, before stuff like that starts showing up. There's a very slim chance of getting rares right away, but almost never.

There is about 38 rare outfits and 47 rare weapons you may find in the wasteland. It is about getting one rare item per day of exploring, the longer to explore, the better chance to get a rare item.

And there is 4 laser rifles under rare. So the chance of getting one is 4/85. A bit more than 1/20. So the chance to have one is about 20 man days exploring, plus time for return.
