What happens to The Empire after Skyrim?

Ok, I haven't been a TES player for long (Oblivion was my first game) and since then, I have loved the Empire.

I was just wondering, what do people think will happen to The Empire after Skyrim?

I mean, they can't possibly integrate YOUR decision on the Civil War into the next game, cause every TES player probably has a different opinion on who is right and why?

Do you think the Dominion will rule Tamriel in the next game?

The Thalmor have no desire in ruling, just destroying. If the Thalmor happen to succede at their sinister plans, there won't be anymore games. We however know that TES is too profitable for that to happen, so I have no doubt that somewhere the Thalmor plot will be thwarted. However, TES has a way of keeping your decisions and making them ring true by obscuring them in some way that leads to a general conclusion regardless of your actual choices.

After the events of Skyrim. With no emperor, the council once more begins infighting and making power grabs for the throne. With the immense amount of knowledge the thalmor have on imperial troop placements due to the WGC, they'll manuever small strike forces to the IC, or around some of the imperial forces. As they did before, they'll strike one target swiftly and annihilate it. Given the amount of time, they'll likely have enough folks infiltrated into the IC to help overthrow it from within. The gates will be opened by sabotuers and the strike forces will move in quickly eliminating any semblence of leadership in the empire. News will reach the armies at the border of valenwood and they'll make for the IC and be unsuccessful in trying to retake it. Cue the http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BigDamnHeroes. With them as a rallying point a second successful push is made, and upon their success a counteroffensive is prepared. More details to be seen in DLC or TES VI.

realistic scenario but we do not know if Titus Mede has an heir or not. Unless that heir was also killed.
