I have installed a mod (I think that UV gave me that files) that adds some sound effects to the sound folder. I tried to open it to hear it but... a pop-up telling me that the codec wasn't installed, and if I want to download it. I said no and then I tried other files that had the same prefix than that. They worked perfectly, so I don't know why the first didn't worked. I tried other files after that, and my WMP says that it's a corrupt file (????).

I'm feared of possible crashes and freezes because of this, because I don't know how the Oblivion sound system works. Will I have problems when these files play? Or they will just not play?

I doubt very much if it's a codec issue, the file is no doubt corrupted. So it's going to be hard to say how the game will respond. It may crash, or it may just not use that file. Maybe you could try downloading it again, and if the problem still persists let the author know about so he/she can fix it.

Okay, it's a thing of the mod (or my computer), because I downloaded UV again and it was still corrupt. Where can I report UV bugs? Well, no, wait. I will wait for UVII. That sure it solves the problem. XD

Not if the author isn't aware that there is a problem. That's the whole point of letting them know, so they can fix it.
