he would most likely stand outside until you sent someone out to the wasteland. I think you could then bring him in and just let the other person die. lol

FlyingCripple is probably right. Another question will the dwellers not allowed into your vault ever leave?

You have two options. Place a dweller in a production room alone. Keep rushing the room until the fails kill the dweller. Then REMOVE the dead dweller.

Send a dweller out into the wasteland and wait for them to die. Then REMOVE the dead dweller.

When you are at vault capacity, you have to remove a dweller or increase capacity. You cannot increase capacity beyond 200. So if you are at 200, the only way to bring a new dweller into the vault is to remove another from your vault roster. You can only remove dead dwellers.

but the question remains, if i'm at 200 dwellers, will the 201'st dweller stand outside and wait for me to dismiss a dweller or will they automatically leave and be lost forever?

p.s. i'm not sure i'm gonna go to 200, so this is moot. i am at 100 now, and it takes a long time to micromanage them. also, my ipad air 2 is handling everything really well, but i sense a slight stutter here and there now. especially when i open my dweller list.

also i don't know where i would put 200 guys...like i could do 80 power,40 food, 40 waters...but i dn't even need that many. i'm aupporting 100 with just 5 food guys and 5 waters. i have 40 power guys right now. 14 water, 14 food (only need 5 but i have 14 just because...only 5 are sctually producing, the rest are training luck or their primary stat)

i also have 2 science, 6 radio, 2 gate guards, 2 people training for perfect stats in all 7 rooms, and 16 explorers and i just started training 2 each nuka girls/boys, for an even 100

i could have like 60 exlprers at 200 population but that seems not nly overkill, but i read people saying that the game can't process that many.

i usually send 10/16 at a time and have the other 6 training but i recently sent out all 16 and i am seeing a slight delay, like 2 seconds when i look at their exploration logs. i dunno what 60 would do to it.

i will probably sit toght at 100 for at least a week, max out more stats and then i'll have an orgy, get every girl pregnant and see what happens.

A bit off topic, but I'm making another vault just for this reason. I've reached the dweller cap on my first vault with 49 rooms constructed and I've noticed a significant increase in chopiness and and sluggishness on my iPhone 6 compared to when I had ..say 80 dwellers. It also became slightly bothersome because whenever I tried to rush a room, it would almost always select a dweller instead. Not sure if it because of the lag or because of my fingers, but it was really annoying when you had to do 20+ rooms.

lol i constantly grab a dweller by accident when i'm trying to scroll my camera. and then i end up sending them to the wrong room and i have to grsb them and send them back. i have to be careful to only swipe up my elevator shaft to make sure i don't touch anyone, *bad touch* "that's harassment, and I don't have to take it"

haha, that happens to me all the time too. I often find dwellers in rooms that are supposed to be empty and thinking, "Where did you come from?" Then spend about 5 mins checking room after room looking to see if there are any dwellers missing in them.
