The first week was fun, the double xp weekend was awesome, and now the 3rd week is starting to go down hill.

First, all I see these days in matches are one of the 3 players:

1) Cloaked Bow campers (I believe dubbed "Bustas" from Sdub himself)
These guys sit around, crouched with the bow cocked waiting for you to run in their line of site. I can imaging the boner they get when an arrow finally nails someone and they feel like Xerxes. These guys are not a big problem but can be like a splinter in your foot. They're noticeable and annoying but you can live with it.

2) Jackal + Laser hip-fire spammers
These guys run around spamming from the hip with their Jackal. Usually paired with laser, rapid fire, and maneuverability. I see the okay to good players use this a lot so they rank up more kills. Easy kills for guys who just want to be top score (kills) by the end of the match. Probably one of the most annoying things the game has to offer IMO.

3) Scar + Laser boiz
These guys are usually the good to great players. Man that Scar + Laser can do some killer damage. It seems cheap in the hands of a more skilled player. It makes a Good player seem great, and a Great player seem pro. Almost a handicap weapon. These guys don't really get to me as much as the jackal users but I just see the scar as being OP at this time. I'll admit, I'm not very good with the Scar, just not my style, but when I see a skilled player use it, I just feel like they're not applying themselves and they're really just wanting the easy kills. Not to mention the hip-fire from the scar + laser is ridiculously accurate if you use the right attachments.

The point of this is that now people are finding out which weapon load-outs are OP and it's becoming less fun every match.

I'm not sure if Crytek has any plans to balance out some weapons or load-outs but I hope it happens. I want the game to continue on and be fun again. Once balance is restored I think the potential will be back.

So far I think the game is gorgeous and the maps are pretty good. Overall I believe I had more fun playing C2 then I do C3 but I'm hoping it grows on me more in the future. Balancing would be a good start.

You hit the head on the nail guy. I prefer C3 over C2 because I play CVR and they fixed a lot in that regard. It's sad that I have figure out a load out that doesn't fall into an OP category just so I won't be lumped in with these guys. If I could add one more category it would gauss campers. In CVR these are OHk anywhere on the body. I svck at sniping but had no problem when I used this thing. I used it one round and put it away for good. i know use the scar, foregrip, and match barrel. When I'm not in a cqc kinda mood i use fy71, foregrip, assault scope.
