...........

PS3 doesn't even have a demo or a screenshot, you want to compare the xbox 360 version that has a demo with a platform that nothing was released on?

According to Crytek the PS3 version runs better which probably means slightly better graphics

PS3 by the tiniest sliver of an amount possible.

Also, there's PS3 footage in Crysis 2 TV episode 4. Pay attention to the HUD on one bit of the video. I can't be bothered finding it.

Slightly better try again the playstation 3 has both processors to rely on for handing different stages of the graphical workloads people always discredit the cell processor's advance graphical capabilities & also you or anybody else uses the low memory argument don't bother i got the argument covered below too.

@Sonyguy..

The Cell is "generally" a CPU not a GPU..... CPU`s are not made and are simply not very good for rendering grfx. You could try and render pictures in real time- software on a CPU but it would be slow as hell even on a "real" Octacoreprocessor. So the Cell as a powerpc processing unit is not faster ( but way waay slower) in rendering grfx than the nvidia rsx GPU. So adding the CPU to help the rsx is not much of a boost to the PS3 grfx- abilities.
I know the CEll is often used to calculate grfx ( its even advertised for its grfx abilities) ... but the results are rather poor if you ask me ( Just like AMDS 3d Now technology back in the days). But whats really remarkable about the cell is that its very good at calculating floating-point numbers. But nowadays i would prefer the AMD Magny-Cours over the Cell or the newer IBM Power7.

hey trolls..does is matter?if ps3(or 360) version will have better graphics it will change the game???well hell no!!!everyone(pc,360,ps3) will get the same experience, the same gameplay...all i want to see is stable framerate,no lag controls and no game-breaking bugs/glitches...and i hope consoles(both 360 and ps3) will have that...the rest is about people with no meaning in their lives trying to find something in games....

Not really. The PS3 will look and/or have better performance. I own neither console so im hardly biased.

What?
Do you call my response ignorant?

i just told you facts dude... maybe the rsx is slightly better than the amd GPU in the Xbox 360.. the 360 is the older console though.

But my remarks according to the Cell and what CPUs and GPUs actually can calculate are just common facts.

Do you even now what CPU means?
Central Processing Unit

and GPU?
Graphics Processing Unit

So lets play a game... guess which of these two processing units is mainly responsible for the grfx in videogames?

Agreed! I just want everyone to have the best experience possible, and I know Crytek does as well!

You need catch up with the times on software programing & hardware engineering because the times have changed on how developers approach software programing & hardware engineering but do let me know when you make an intelligent counter argument with actual relevance on current software programing & hardware engineering.

I live in the modern age of current software programming & hardware engineering im not sure what age your living in but it has no actual relevance to the modern age of current software programming & hardware engineering.

By the way... to speak about the playstation 3 hardware structure and also speakin therefore of modern age software programing makes me lough.
No offense but... the modern (gamedevelopment) programming and hardware engineering happens on pc.. with x86 processors and GPUs handling the major grfx processes. And not on 5 year old powerpc-structured consoles.

The original topic has been answered already,,,and a thousand times before... both versions will be similiar... countless quotes from countless interviews proof that.. But youre kinda right..teaching a stubborn dog is useless.

That's fine if you want to remain in denial & if people want to believe your misinformation then so be it because i should consider the source of where the misinformation is coming from anyways.

on most multiplat games the 360 and PS3 look exactly the same, the only game ive ever noticed a difference in was Armoured Core 4 were the 360 had slightly better lighting/shadows and the PS3 has slightly better detail.
