What has the Trailer done to YOU?

Post » Wed Feb 02, 2011 12:12 am

My sincere congratulations to Bethesda. This trailer is one of the most incredibly disturbing things (said for good) I've seen in my life. So far, I've:

1) Not being able to post anything on any forum or even barely being able to talk in Real Life for about two full hours.

2) Made me seen the trailer almost 20 times. Straight up.

3) Made me do strange sounds in the metro while remembering the trailer, people looking at me like if I was a madman. And not caring a bit about it.

4) Being still pretty much in shock, and feeling the need of sleeping a full night in order to recover my normal self.

Appendum to 4) ...and not being sure I'll RECOVER anyway.

Appendum to appendum to 4) ...but being totally sure the first thing I'll do tomorrow is to switch on my computer and see the trailer again.

5) Barely being able to resist to cast the featured Dragon Shout myself in RL. And I think tomorrow I won't resist anymore :)

...and you? What has the trailer done to you? :D

It hasn't made me do anything..... Now I know what it's probably going to look like when I play it in November.

Same here, and tbh I got a little disapointed... I hope it looks better at release.

I've become a better father to my children, husband to my wife, friend to my friends, son to my parents, citizen of my country, customer to my dealer.

I really liked it.

I've got a resolution for you buddy:

1. Buy a new computer
2. Set Skyrim to Optimum Settings
3. Behold the REAL graphics of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Otherwise, get used to those Xbox 360 graphics.

I no longer care...

I no longer care about spears, levitation, mysticism disappearing or NPC's not having dialogue - I just want to play this now!

Made me say "Oooh stealth kills."

And "Wow if I was that guy I'd want sleeves on that shirt."

Cry tears of joy, I have not done that from a gaming trailer since Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny in 1997.

This morning, humming absent-mindedly badly remembered dragon lyrics. I got weird looks from students.

's alright, everybody already knows I'm mad.

Don't worry...I'll also be doing that during all the time at my work. For sure.

Also, it has made me wonder how the heck am I supposed to resist until 11-11-11. We should sue Bethesda for crimes related to Social Irresponsability.

It made me want to go outside into the cold wind and just...breathe it in.
In fact, I'll go do that now.

while driving home I've singed out loud the theme song with random lyrics.
it takes 20 mins to reach home from the train station, so now I can barely speak as my voice is completely gone...
it was soo crazy but now I'm back to normality, finally.

I haven't done anything today. At all. Except play Elder Scrolls games/fantasize about Skyrim. Brilliant expenditure of time for winter break, eh?

For the first 15 minutes or so, I was pretty much hyperventilating, and then for the next 30 minutes to a full hour I was in mindnumbed shock, and from then on till now I'm just ridiculously hyped, practically living in these forums :D :celebration:

The most epic, amazing, awesome, trailer I've ever seen. I know I sound like a ridiculous 12-year old or something but it's really left me speechless... the sheer awe of the trailer is ineffable; the sensation you experience as you once more hear the beautiful melodic cues of the Elder Scrolls, molded in a Nordic choir, is beyond words.

Oh, and I must have watched the trailer up to 25 times now, and still counting.

I LOVE YOU TODD AND BETHESDA

My Epic-O-Meter exploded after watching the new trailer.
Also, finger to those who are still unhappy about the game and whining.

I'm satisfied for now! I have seen part of the game in action. Much more interesting than still screenshots. And epic as hell too!

Yeah, I came close to tears as well.
