Around seventy hours of game play I finally realized you can pick up items with the cursor and joystick... Stupidity at it's finest.

Ummmmmm....450 + hours and I hadn't tried this....as a result of reading this, I spent 15 minutes wandering around outside Meg repositioning bits of raider bodies, until I picked one up in front of Harith, who promptly said "Having fun with that?" in a very disdainful tone and then he and his caravan wandered off in disgust.

At least now the raiders, Enclave and Talon will all spawn around the two deathclaws well away from the front gate...he he he. I can't wait till they find that they are in a double circle of mines for a deathmatch spectacular....I should get Charon and Fawkes to sell tickets....

As was said before, you can hold the button down for drinking. Geez I spent like 5 minutes of going up and down, up and down, to get full health.

Hah I must have just forgotten about it then. :P

I just had to start a new char in a try to get one of the party hats as a beginning possession, so my memory was fresh!

And, no, I couldn't find a way to keep or hide one.

There isn't one, they are removed by the script. I tried that myself several times.

The Mole Rat racetrack is near Greyditch; one way to reach it is to go to the Red Racer factory, then travel around it to the North and go downhill. That will put you at one end of a long line of cars, the racetrack is along that road past the other end of them. There will be a bridge overhead with a Scavenger and his dog on it (he sometimes has a Yao Guai too, or a second dog) just past the racetrack.

just noticed if discover dead wastelander / scavenger etc and drag body to safe location with out searching them will eventually respawn alive but most will tell you to mind your own business if talk to them

even after 200 hours of gameplay i still havent found the sniper shack or the mole rat racetrack

if you complete blood ties quest in arafu one of the people will add "rock breakers last gas" to your pip boy map
at rock breakers last gas run to the nukacola machine and look at the horizon on the left side the sniper shack (wooden building) is wright at the top point

couple places i found unmarked not recently but on second play through is

the dog settlement just south side of the road at reclining resort homes wander if fa3 dogmeat originated from here ?

an unmarked ant nest just north from paradise falls

discovering feril ghoul settlement with burnmaster unique flamer for first time ,the drainage entrance is along the water front north from wihelms wharf at the time first play though i did not have enough skill in pick lock to realize it connects to falls church area and has 8+ of almost every schematic item needed

also south from red racer factory you can swim through the flooded section at flooded metro to another closed off area initially i thought it would connect to wihelms wharf drainage but it doesnt

Spoiler
Hidden House Model safe in Gibson House, Minefield.

It took me literally dozens of plays to notice it. There could have been some valuable items in it to reward the careful player, but still it was nice.

After 2 full playthroughs I figured out most of the things on the list, but this is one that I didn't know. They were so annoying! Good find!

I thought I had seen everything there was to see and then I went and tried out the More Map Markers mod on nexus. Makes all those neat little places have map markers. Very handy.

To be fair, it doesn't have much effect on behemoths, either. I just can't get my head around *anything* standing up to a nuke. Shouldn't just one devastate blocks of a city?

If you are refering to the mini nukes then no. They are roughly at my best guess about 1/4 to 1/2 megaton charge. to do full square city blocks it would have to be about 10 to 20 kilotons IMO only..........CAPITAL :nuke: WASTELAND
as for the topic well I am still finding out things about FO3 even after my 5th character..........:fallout:

Only recently found out that while hacking terminals, you can use the seemingly useless characters to either removed dud passwords from the screen, or replenish the number of attempts.

After putting the pieces together while browsing the wiki, I discovered that, despite your fathers wishes AND your results of the G.O.A.T., the LW still ends up with a job in the maintenance dept. (seeing as he has a utility jumpsuit in his dresser).

Guess the Overseer really DOES hate your char. :P

You fail maths... :sadvaultboy:

1/4 of a megaton is equal to 250,000 tons of TNT. 10 kilotons is equal to 10,000 tons of TNT. A mini-nuke would have to be somewhere around 1 milliton of TNT considering it hardly affects anything.

I found out earlier you can use [Lady Killer] on Agatha. Blegh!
