I help Joshua kill Salt-Upon-Wounds every time. He has to be killed, period. Giving him a chance to reflect on what he's done sounds all well and good from a storyline standpoint, but I say art imitates life (all due respect to Mr. Wilde). I tend to think that a tribal with his mindset is unlikely to reflect on the "error of his ways", or other such nonsense. His command presense alone would preclude him from ever taking that line; if he did, he'd be dead within a few days. Add in his already clear- cut predisposition, and letting him live amounts to a second chance to keep killing. So, I help Joshua waste him when the chance presents itself.
I am the same, only I did once leave Zion - just to give it a try...
I always help Joshua extend mercy. I'm happiest with that ending.
I persuaded Joshua to spare Salt upon Wounds. It saves Zion from the White Legs, and saves Joshua from himself. The power of the White Legs is broken anyway by that point, there's no need to kill Salt upon Wounds.
