What I hope for Skyrim...

I think it would be extremely cool I we had a hardcoe mode option. Not excactly like Fallout NV, but in a much larger extend. I would like the hardcoe mode to have different options for the more expirenced player.
Here is what I suggest:
The same as NV (you need sleep, food and water)
ALSO that before you start the game you have the option to choose hardcoe mode like we had in Diablo 2. For people that haven't played Diablo or doesn't remember, it forces you to to exit game every time you save, and when you die you would be dead infinity. I know some of you think that is TOO hardcoe, but it adds realism and when you think of Fallout NV, it was a bit too easy to make money in the casino plus the speechcraft options because you could just save right before the decision and then reload if something goes wrong! This will definitely solve this problem.
I know that it may be hard to survive in Skyrim, but then sometimes you have to flee, something that I never used in earlier Bethesda games. Also it would be cool if you in some way could 'buy' an item or a buff (maybe send from the gods) that revives you only one time if you of some reason dies.

It would be cool if you guys would give some (constructive) critisism and say what you think!

If there is a hardcoe, it would probably be DLC. And Dead is Dead is annoying enough in Angband where progress is minimal, but in a game like SKyrim it would be to irritating.

I would be up for a hardcoe mode. Dead is dead is a bit drastic though, would be good as a toggled option on creation. I think adding a mode like this would help cater the game the particular crowds, as some people do not like hardcoe mode, which is fair enough but it would be nice to have the option for people who do want it. Also things to adjust on creation like fast travel on/off as there is a lot of divide there.

Self control. No need for a "hardcoe" mode just to do something you can do on your own. Personally I don't reload when things don't go as I wanted. There is no problem to be fixed solved save your your own lack of control.

Being booted from the game for saving? What kind of stupidity is that? hardcoe or not, that is just silly.

I wouldn't mind some survival mechanics but beyond that, no. Perma death can be achieved on your own without the game doing it for you. Simply overwrite the same save every time and delete it if you die. Easy, unless of course you lack the self discipline required to do so.

Easy to get money in the Casinos? If you cheated maybe, I went in with 2000 Caps yesterday and now have to eat Rat Meat to heal Myself. And let me tell you, Rat Meat Doesn't Fix my Concussion. :sadvaultboy:
